RESPONSE: no thank you should of refunded us the money on the day. Don’t pretend and say that you will give us a free drink.
Me and my mum have been coming here for years in the weekends to have our coffee. The service has always been great including the food/drinks. Today we go around 3:30pm and notice there are new staff never seen before so I’m assuming new owners of the business. This didn’t matter as we thought service would be the same. We order our Frappuccino’s 1 strawberry the other milk chocolate. It took more than 15 minutes to arrive (and not at the same time). Before it would only take 5 minutes max (with frappes specifically). If being short staffed is an issue that’s fine but at least make sure both drinks arrive at the same time and be respectful. The strawberry one arrived first which was just ice and barely any flavour from midway to the end (my mum’s drink) and then a scoop of ice cream as if that made it better. Before this wasn’t an issue. Then I had to get up to ask where my drink was as the person that handed the first drink didn’t even explain if it was coming soon. I was told they are making it now so I go sit back down. When the other drink finally comes (late) no apology from the waitress. My mum goes to inform the people that her strawberry drink was watered down and had barely any strawberry flavour in it which was never the case (my mum never complains like EVER and so it must of been really bad for her to bother to get up and talk to the waitress). The lady pretended not to understand my mum. My mum speaks fluent english and has an accent which is not thick at all. She could of at least refunded us that drink or made a new one. What my mum drank was barely a strawberry drink. No apology from them either.
Also very dirty cafe most tables still had old eaten food that was not cleared. Very messy look. This was never how it used to be. New owners, new service and it ain’t good. We will not waste our money here again. I also saw a customer that was given her coffee but then she stood up asking for help. When she finally got the attention of the staff she was then given her sandwich which they clearly forgot about. Overall unorganised cafe, dirty, unwelcome atmosphere, staff needs more training on what customer service really is and extremely slow...
