Needlessly snide/patronising service, will never return to any of your outlets. As a hospitality worker myself I get that dealing with the public is tiring blah blah blah. Was looking online for an Xmas present for my nephew; who at the tender age of 14 is getting interested in coffee, noticed you are selling an awesome looking Bialetti brand pour through coffee maker with permanent filter, it also came with 200gms of your ground beans. Great. I firstly went to your outlet on the Terrace and asked whether they sold merch, and described what I was after, "we have a little, but if you go to our main branch on Abel Smith they will have more stock and what you are looking for". Cool. I get to Abel Smith and stand in a coffee queue for ten minutes. Acknowledged "yes mate". So, I say hi and explain that I'm not here for coffee, rather, the coffeemaker etc. The staff member said "yeah, I'm not really 'a make coffee at home kind of guy', not sure what you're talking about". A ridiculous comment given the nature of your business, although he may see himself as something of a specialist, but judging by the mountain of ground coffee discard at his work station, I doubt it.
So, I kind of stood there exasperated, having invested time standing in your queue and another staff member addressed me "sup bro?", to which I replied "sup bro?" I then explained what was up, bro - wanting to purchase a Bialetti pour through coffeemaker and 200gms ground coffee, incidentally some of the coffee makers were displayed at head height around the room. "Sup bro" then explained in a kind of patronising tone that these were only able to be purchased online. I am perfectly able to purchase goods online and wonder why I was advised to visit your Abel Smith branch. I then thanked "sup bro" for his time, left and purchased a pour through coffee maker with permanent filter from a well known national retail homewares chain store, their Wellington location literally just around the corner from your Abel Smith branch.
I tried to rate Raglan Roast Abel Smith at zero stars but Google would not let me which is why you...

The couches were well worn into and comfortable, as taken from homes where they had been loved for years and the experience I had sipping on my espresso, reading my book and looking at the people and artwork of a creative and incredibly cost reductive style was beyond pleasant.
All in all, I come from the Great Lakes region where quaint coffee shops reign far and wide across Michigan and Wisconsin and Raglan Roast Coffee would undoubtably have an esteemed, almost mythical reputation. The quality of product and price-point delivery has absolutely no competition anywhere else that can even approach it.
