I don’t usually write reviews, but the experience we had at Honest Restaurant was so bad that I felt I should share it. It was a special day for us, and we had decided to celebrate at Honest, but unfortunately, the service left us very disappointed.
First, some of our food came quickly, but the rest of it took almost 45 to 50 minutes to arrive. This long wait wasn’t communicated to us, so we were just sitting there wondering what was happening. Only after we complained about the long wait did the manager or a staff member come to explain that some food came early and some came late because they have different preparation stations. While I understand this, it would have been much better if they had informed us about it before we placed the order, so we could have made a more informed choice.
By the time the rest of our food arrived, other members of our family had already finished their meals. When the remaining food finally came, it was clear it had been made in a hurry. The food was not properly cooked and didn’t taste good. It was not at all what we expected from a place like Honest Restaurant.
I understand that busy days happen, but communication with customers is very important. We would have been happy to choose something else if we knew it would take that long.
I’m not sure if you are interested in improving your service, as you are a well-known franchise, but I truly hope you care about customer feedback. If you do, I hope you take this into consideration to improve your service and retain loyal...
Read moreThis was my first takeaway experience with Honest restaurant but frankly speaking me and my two friends did not enjoy the customer service experience since when we tried to call them over the phone they were not willing to take any phone orders so we went to their restaurant to place order in person to which concerned staff advised us that wait time will be 20min considering their dine in crowd so we waited for 30mins before one of my friend went to side to check the order to which there was further delay so I went myself after 40mins and still order was not ready and they gave us lame excuse that crowd is getting busier now for dine in etc which shows their lack of efficiency in the work they do for customer to prepare orders on time whether be for dine in or takeaway should be honoured equally since we received our takeaway order nearly after 45-50mins. In NZ customer service whether be for dine in or takeaway is practised based on first come first serve but this restaurant needs to improve their customer service experience while the served Pav bhaji order was reasonably good otherwise in taste.
However because of poor customer service experience it seems highly unlikely that we may want to...
Read moreWhat is in a name! A lot-that’s what the flyers on the wall of this restaurant says. Starting as a small cart/shop in Gujarat, has now become global with the newest addition Auckland-NZ. The secret ingredient? Good food with Honest ingredients. The food cooked in everyone’s favourite Amul butter-sings out loud on the menu and from scratch Large sitting area, with lots of settee and chair type sitting arrangements. The food was authentic and well-seasoned, priced as normal. Almost all food has a (as expected) Gujarati touch, I found an over-powering flavour of hing in the sambhar. The service was fast and all the food came in quick time. The service staff was friendly and informative. If you are tech-savvy, you can order from your table. Some of the popular items are pani puri. Pau bhaji, cheese pau bhaji, masala dosa, Bahubali sandwich, honest special grilled sandwich, kaju anjeer shake. The location is between Bunga Raya and MacDonalds with prominent red and gold colouring boards. Amble parking behind or park in the mall and walk The restaurant only serves Vegetarian food. Comfort foods served well, so you can return as many times as you want....
