I have had a lot of sushi from most corners of the earth, this Asian fusion blew my expectations out of the water. We attempted to go here twice while visiting Bergen, so if you are looking for dinner…make a reservation.

We went for a late lunch and ordered three rolls and one poke bowl. We ordered the Dirty Tempura Maki (the OG fusion roll) topped with sweet potato fries. What is not to love?! I also ordered the Morudoba Sake roll that has a deep fried peanut crust served with chili mayo. Finally, my favorite was the Golden Gate, a deep fried salmon roll with cream cheese, sriracha and paprika. It had the most beautiful golden coloring on top. We also ordered the Spicy Korean poke bowl, which was delicious but just a typical poke bowl. If you are eating here, order the unique rolls you won’t find...

We had a really bad experience at sumo this Thursday. The sushi we ordered wasn’t right due to an internet mistake and when we asked for what we had ordered, the waiters were unfriendly and defensive. Having first suggested we could buy another dish of what we had ordered for 50% discount “because it’s expensive”, they eventually agreed to swap. They then swapped the wrong sushi and when we returned asking again for what we ordered, the waiters reacted as if we’d dones something terrible, rolling their eyes, whispering to each other, and then finally blaming us for not explaining what we wanted (we had...). The sushi is fine but expensive and so with service like this we will always choose ichiban if we can (cheaper, friendlier and better quality) and we recommend you...

Fairly decent sushi at an indecent cost. Wanted to give 2,5.

The location is excellent, and the interior is very comfortable and nice. Good for smaller groups or couples.

The food did not impress me, and certainly not at that price. You have several far better alternatives in Bergen for sushi (Take, Nama, Ichiban). The beer selection was boring. I have not tried the non-sushi menu alternatives.

The service is OK - we did not have to wait very long. However, the waiter did not seem knowledgeable about the menu, and they could have been a lot more proactive.

All in all - go for the atmosphere and possibly drinks, but not...
