Lovely space, reminding of a classic tavern, ostaria, with lots of wood, barrels, bottles of wine on the walls, nicely setting for the atmosphere which takes you back to the Mediterranean. All plates were beautiful and tasty. All the aperitifs and digestives you would normally find in Italy and a lot of drinks and wine to choose from. Since we are in Norway,it is rarely that you find a pizza that actually tastes like the Italian pizza,so a big shout out to the italian pizzaiolo on the other side od the bar, as caprichosa was just as it should be. Risotto properly done, and pasta had all the right flavours. Caprese with buratta is a must for starters. Would easily go there just to have a glass of wine and the caprese. Price was a bit on the expensive side, about 700 per person, but no surprises there, since we did have all the courses. The biggest disappointment (although that is a strong word) were the desserts. No spectacles there, not even the tiramisu. But still, in total- a pleasent meal in a lovely surroundings. Ask table in the back, so there is not any draft coming from the doors opening all the time. It is a busy place.

Was travelling at Bergen, went on a Thursday night, indoor seats were fully booked and was offered the outdoor seats, which was very nice and cosy. They even have heat lamps to keep us warm at the table in the chilly September evening. Female greeter was very pleasant and friendly to us and offered us blankets and made sure we were happy with the heater lamps before heading back indoors. The male server at the outdoor seating area was also very pleasant and quick. Good: - seafood spaghetti is really tasty with generous portions of mussels and prawns. - good selection of Vegetarian pasta and other dishes. - service is sincere and quick - offered us their home made bread, which was wonderful. Can improve on: - option to change to linguine pasta - more bottles of olive oil. Ours had to be taken away halfway our meal to be served at another new table just just came in. Overall, highly recommended and a great place for Vegetarians too.

Was very excited by the vegan offerings in each category. Service started off great work a fast cocktail from the bar with a passion fruit base- lovely. Orders were placed at 6:50pm with great anticipation. We ordered some focaccia to hold us to mains- it was very nice and light. By 7:45 we were looking for our server who seemed to disappear. Finally found her and asked about the meals. She was embarrassed and went to the kitchen about 15 minutes later the food finally appeared in the hands of an expediter. We asked why the lateness and he said it was because we ordered a steak and soup as if it were our error. Shocking. The server came over to apologize and ask about the food. My wife’s food was under cooked and sent back to the kitchen- we feared it would be another 15 or more minutes. It was returned, as originally requested, in 5 minutes. Soup must have had 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne in the base and no cod as promised. The server came over and apologized once again. Another server came by and offered free dessert and coffee as a consolation. We tried the vegan cheesecake which was excellent. Must have been an off night in the kitchen. Disappointing given the cost.

What an absolutely amazingly cozy place. The ambiance and vibe is so on point. We had a private room to celebrate a 40th birthday and it fit 8 of us very comfortably, I think 14 could also work very well. The food was great, the only two small drawbacks I can think off is that my food was not very hot (but very tasty still) when it came out. I had the deer filet with potatoes that is pictured. Second, the waitress could have come and checked on the drinks a little more often as beer glasses stood empty for a while. But I’d still give this experience a 5 star because of the overall night we had.

This is a MUST to be in Bergen if you are looking for an amazing food experience into the Italian traditional kitchen. The environment is magic, the quality is so high that should deserve a star Michelin. The service is managed by staff that is able to let feel customer like nobles. The price is honest and fair for the quality served. A special mention for the sommelier Alessio that took care of us like never before. This place is better than many place back in Italy, and I am Italian. Massive work by the management and the owner.

Italian restaurant just a few steps away from the old fish market. The interior atmosphere is cozy and well-maintained, with multiple rooms where, being in a group, you can dine in absolute privacy. As an Italian, I found the food extremely delicious, and the service is attentive and welcoming. It's evident that the ingredients used are fresh, starting from the tomato on the pizza to the buffalo mozzarella. The price is fair considering the service provided. One of the best Italian cuisines I have ever tried outside of Italy.
