In 1702 the Bryggen building were damage by fire . They were rebuilt and some of these were later demolished and some were destroyed by fire . In 1754 these properties were transfer to Norwegian citizen. Bryggen illustrate the use of space in a quater of Hanseatic merchants that dates back to the 14th century.
