As vegans, it’s always nerve-wrecking for my fiancé and I to go out and eat, as we have to trust what’s going on in the kitchen. The staff was extremely patient and wary of our wishes, and their service gets a 5 star in my book. Unfortunately, the food was not satisfactory, and after having eaten at Burgasm a few times and really enjoyed it, this was pretty disappointing. To specify, we were under the impression that we were each getting a vegan burger- a vegan patty along with vegan cheese, fakeon, aioli, diverse vegetables, the whole sha-bang. What we were met with was an unappealing burger with no patty, meagre condiments and add-ons, and a small assortment of vegetables that were immediately overpowered by a pile of thick, soaking wet slices of eggplant that neither of us ordered or could bring ourselves to finish. It’s not often I get meals that I dread to put in my mouth. The water from the eggplant soaked the bread and made the burger over all unpleasant to eat. Our plates quickly devolved into pools of water and it’s not very enticing to come back. Again, we’ve been to Burgasm before, and it’s been fantastic. But when you have a slogan like “every meal should be a love song, demand yours!”, vegans should be included and be given decent food. What we had tonight was definitely one of a kind, but not a gourmet burger. One could argue that what we had was in fact not a burger at all, but an eggplant sandwich. Please update your vegan preparation. If you can have a proper vegetarian burger, you can have a proper vegan burger. Our experience tonight was not at all worth what we spent on the check. Side note: your page mentioned up to date and modern drinks, and we were very disappointed that the most complicated drink served at Burgasm is a gin and tonic or “soda and vodka”. Not to mention that on a calm night, I had to go up to the bar three times to ask which drinks are served. So this is going to be a looong and detalied reviews and I hope the boss will read this.If he cares about his restaurant he will read it and take action.So the problem is the waiter.The short one, brown hair and blue eyes (I think??.When we first came in we were standing and were thinking where to sit.We wanted to sit in the back put he just threw the menus at the first table and said sit.We were shocked but okay.When he came to take our order he was rude and had no service manner like: hello, a smile, thank you? Nothing! We got our food.It was good.While we where eating, a coupuwith children came, and the same thing happened to them.They wanted to choose the table but he forced them to sit where he wants(obviously near the kitchen so it is easier for him).The family opened their eyes in shock after the encounter with him.After food we where sitting at the table for like an hour, because we where waiting for our boat.He came to us and said we should leave the table and we can sit at the bar if we just want to sit??? Excuse me? We ordered food and drink and are allowed to sit in the restaurant! We would understand if the place was full but no-it was half empty.We decided just to leave and go somewhere else! I give it two stars because the food was good.The "truffle" burger needs more truffle flavour and the vanilla milkshakes a bit more vanilla extract.The fries were amazing.The toilet was extraordinary clean.I hope the boss will make some changes because the waiter is making people never...

We decided to eat burgers while waiting for the ferry. While deciding where to sit, the unfriendly waiter told us where to sit and threw the menus at the table without saying much.

On the other hand, we were asked for our food fast but waited long in contrast to the nearly empty room (4 people and 2 left meanwhile). Since it was about 5° outside, the restaurant wasn't much warmer.

We decided for a burger (1 vegetarian) whose was all served with cold buns, undercooked meat. The fries were ok and quite tasty.
