Brygghuset — Restaurant in Kristiansand

Forgot to review our initial visit a week ago. Came in for dinner at 19:00, and met with a pretty quiet restaurant. Music was a bit loud, but the server was very nice. We both ordered the premium burger, and got sides of fries, fried pickles and bbq wings. The burgers had good flavor, and were cooked well. The wings were a very good texture, cooked perfectly and fell off the bone, but were quite a sweet bbq that was a bit much. The fries were nothing special, just your basic fries. And the pickles were quite good, if a bit thin, leading to them being mostly breading.

The problem comes with the fact that we got a piece of glass in one of the burgers. Unfortunately, at that time, two girls came in and took up our servers attention to order drinks, so we waited quite a while to be able to get someone's attention. The glass was investigated, burger taken away and comped, but unfortunately nobody knows where the glass came from or how it got into the burger. While the food was good, that soured the rest of the meal, resulting in lower stars. I'm sure it was a one-off, but something...

This is my second time here and my second time in Kristiansand, I just really had to come back. I've only good things to say. Excellent beer selection, great service, great food and very cozy. This place has it all.

The setting is both cozy and historic with just the right amount of light that enables both work or hangout. I've been sitting here working, eating and hanging out.

The beer menu is very broad and has something for everybody, even if you prefer non-alcoholic. If you want to broaden your horizon or just want to try something new, they offer a flight of beer at a very affordable price!

The burger I had last time is the best I've had in Kristiansand. Today I tried the entrecote with bearnaise - what a treat I was in for! I will be back again for more!

Det snør det snør tiddelibom ❄️☃️ Men det gjorde det nesten ikke før jeg gikk inn på Christiansand Bryggehus for et måltid mat. Restauranten var stufull av tørste og sultne gjester... Kjempebra, etter en lang pandemitørke. 👍 Menyen besto av et utvalg fra grillen og noen burgere, samt litt småretter. Best lite meg en Lamb Shoulder, en langtidsbraisert lammebog servert med en Stoutsaus 😃 Tilbehøret bestilles fra et eget utvalg av litt forskjellig. Jeg tok en bakt potet med en god dæsj rømme. I glasset ble det en alkoholfri Erdinger 👍 Til tross for full restaurant gikk det ikke lange tida før maten sto på bordet 👍😉 Et stort stykke med kjøtt, godt dekket med saus og en stor potet på siden. Kjøttet var skikkelig mørt, med masse god smak... Og sausen... Wow... Den var god den. Litt spicy og en balansert smak av Stout. Dette var mat for Mons 🙂😃 Og et sånt måltid fortjener en dessert. De hadde to desserter på menyen, Eplekake og sjokoladekake. Så da ble det sjokoladekake 😉 Chocolate Nemesis. Myk kake med vaniljeis, bringebær og krystallisert hvit sjokolade. Å hærli lann... Den var god den. Myk og saftig med masse smak.
