New restaurant. Must come. Excited to support our locals with their businesses. We've had a couple of pizzas in our lives and we can definitely say that this makes the top. The show stopper was the taste of the toppings/cheese. Atmosphere: welcomed by the chefs and staff with an Italian welcome-- what a great start! We appreciated the calm relaxing music. Lighting and decor was lovely. The restaurant gave an ambiance of high end meets a peaceful café. Service: She was very helpful and kind! Walked through the menu and answered any questions we had. Food: Beverage selection was well thought of, I liked the Italian soda. The food took time, but it might have been because we came when it opened at around 11:15am. The crust was perfect, soft with a slight crunch, thin bottom and wonderful edge. Bread to topping ratio was perfect. First time using scissors to cut the pizza (something to learn), but I understand because it helped cut the pizza without making a huge mess. I would maybe replace the knives as when we used them they were not easy to cut through. They are also not your average pizza's where you can fold and hold, as the bottom was thin, so fork and knife is recommended, but you can try. We're told that the pasta is served during dinner time, so do not think of ordering pasta for lunch, but don't worry, you won't miss it because the pizza was THAT good! Definitely worth the wait--home-made, heart-made Italian pizza that we will...

Exceptional Dining Experience with Incredible Pizza & Pasta!
Pizza and pasta so good like this is very hard to find in Oslo.
If you're looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience, this is the place! The Bresaola Pizza was an absolute masterpiece. Pizza contemporanea topped with delicate bresaola, fresh rucola, parmesan flakes and cherry tomat, finished with a drizzle of exellent olive oil. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dough was a testament to the pizzaiolo's incredible skill, expertise and knowledges. He was telling me every step, from fermentation to baking and executed with precision He made also a pizza for my son looking like a rabbit,my son was really happy and think it was so cool.
Then came the Seafood Pasta (Pasta allo Scoglio),it was the pasta of the day,a symphony of flavors! Pasta al dente tossed prawns, octopus and calamari in a rich. The chef, the girl in the kitchen (a true talent in the kitchen),her touch was evident in every bite. Perfectly cooked seafood, just the right amount of seasoning and a very rich and tastefull sauce. The two girls in service was absolutely amazing, helpful with the choise of the meal and drinks. If you appreciate authentic Italian cuisine, close to trattoria, family restaurant then don’t miss...
Read moreThe place has a nice vibe, despite being located below street level. The staff are friendly, although sometimes they forget to send orders – which happened in our case. One waitress took our order but forgot to send it to the system. After a while, another waitress came over to let us know that the one who took our order hadn’t sent it through, meaning we had been waiting for nothing. We lost some time, but at least the second waitress saved the situation and was very pleasant.
The Neapolitan-style pizza had a delicious dough, sauce, and cheese, but the pepperoni could have been tastier, and the pizza itself a little less burnt. The olive oil once was served to the table, the second time it wasn’t. The pasta could have used more meat, as there was very little in the entire portion.
I also have a concern – or perhaps more of an observation – about having to walk through the entire kitchen where chefs are preparing meals while carrying dirty dishes collected from guests. I’m not sure whether this complies with HACCP or IK Mat standards, but it certainly raises hygiene concerns.
Prices are average – not cheap, but not overly...
