Food was authentic and amazing. There's a way to chose the spicyness of every dish and that was very Nice. The portions were perfect. You will stay full for the rest of the evning after having just one dish. The Staff was polite and Nice to us witch is expected. They should hire more waiters because we did experience some waiting. But the waitress resonible for our table was a pro and took our order flawlessly even when we changed the order in front of her sevral times. There was No mix up and we got our food just the way we wanted. The restaurant was a little crouded and there was many kids here. I would not call this the calmest place but would definitely visit again in the future. The decorations in this place gives extra points from me tho. All in all, I recommend this place for a tasty quick dinner when ur really hungry. Definitely check the place out.

We were 4, ordered appetizer and main meal. We got our main dishes first and then after we got an appetizer. Obviously we didn't need appetizer at this point already and we didn't eat it but the waiter forced us to pay for it after all with a lot of arguing, explaining that we have to say it before that we want it before main dish... Do I also have to ask for the dessert to come after the meal not before??? Forretter/Appetizer is as the name suggest "before dish" which should be served normally before while waiting for main dish (Hovedretter), that is normal and understood at all the restaurants I have been till now. Also service is very slow and rude. At least main food we ordered was OK for the time and place (unfinished interior). Thumbs up for kitchen, very big thumbs down for service and organization. We will never go there again and we will certainly advise our friends to not go there.

Two weeks ago me and my son decided to go to Rice Bowl for dinner after a long walk. But when we arrived there, it was closed. Like they had moved out. I became so sad. Because I have been there more than I can remember during all last years. Yes.... Rice Bowl, I am going to really miss you. I loved everything about there. The food, the crew, the ambiance and of course the prices. I had so many good memories with lots of good friends there. ... But today, after doing some shopping, while we were walking in center of city, suddenly I saw their sign. Wow, they are not closed, they have just moved to a new address. We went in and ordered some food. It was good. Very good indeed. As it used to be. I am so happy you are back Rice Bowl. ❤️🌹🍜🍛🥣🌹❤️

Went here with a friend upon arriving in Oslo on a Friday evening as it was conveniently located near our hotel in the city centre. However, the actual Rice Bowl was under construction, so we went to the adjacent cafe called Sushi Bowl, which happened to be owned by the same people. Modern and pleasant decor, very friendly and helpful staff. The menu is extensive and full of exciting choices for South Asian food lovers. We tried the lovely miso soup, the soft shell crab tempura maki (which is more of a sushi than tempura!), and a wonderful beef curry we absolutely loved. The portions are very generous and prices are very reasonable for Oslo. Shame they were shut on Sunday, would’ve tried the place again! Well worth going to.

Got two dishes delivered, and in both dishes the mushrooms are completely dark inside and not edible. The restaurant insisted that “this is how cooked mushrooms look like.” Well, i never knew that rotten mushrooms are what cooked mushrooms look like. They also stated that “we got the mushrooms fresh this morning.” Okay, then you gotta be blind to accept these mushrooms as the ingredients for your restaurants. Well, you can never wake up someone who are pretending to be asleep, and intend to stay that way. The denial of reality game is strong in this restaurant, and I can only respectfully stay away from this place forever

A lot of restaurants near by were booked full for the night, so I find this one. It has very good reviews. It took a while before I was seated. Then it took longer for someone to come and take order. But once the ordered was taken, it came out super fast. I ordered #15. The dish is soso. Not too much difference than the Tai food I ate in DC. The chicken is a tad bit salty and the green bean is too raw. The Thai basil in side is not fresh anymore. So the dish is lack of the basil smell. The sauce is ok. Good thing is there is a large amount of red sweet pepper and onion.
