De La Casa Pasta & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Oslo

I feel quite led astray by the other reviews. We tried 3 different pastas, napolitana, beef, and seafood. Napolitana could have easily come from a grocery brand jar, ketchupy flavor. The seafood pasta had small pieces of mixed seafood and fish, i can only guess frozen. Beef pasta was the most disappointing, especially after it was recommended by the waitress. The sauce tasted like toro brown sauce from powder, the flavor was so similar, i dont think it is possible to create from scratch. If you're a pasta lover, dont come here! A spontaneous trip that turned out great! Great food portions and a lovely atmosphere. Stepped off the tram and saw this place. Would recommend.

Service and atmosphere: Friendly and attentive (wasn’t busy). Good atmosphere with enough spare tables at lunch.

Food: Big pasta portions. I loved the seafood pasta (tagliatelle) which had a range of seafood e.g. salmon, muscles. The beef entrecôte was good but sauce could have been a tad more flavourful. Tres leches was a great way to finish.

Cosy atmosphere, seating inside or outside on a sunny side of the street, attentive service, generous portions and delicious food. They also kindly made me a different pasta than what was available in the menu. We visited during a workday at 2 pm so there were not many customers at the time but if you want to visit in the evening or during a weekend, make sure to book a table ahead of time.
