Interesting….they say they close at 00:30 on Wednesdays (Jeg skriver på engelsk men kan lese og snakke norsk). I walked in at 23:10 on Wednesday 03 April 2024 and they turned me away saying they were closed. I thought Google made a mistake with their opening time, but when I checked their sign outside, the closing time was 00:30. I went to another bar with the same time (Forest & Brown). I got there at 23:14, I asked it closing time had passed. The bartender said “no”…I had a ways to go. I don’t want to be cynical…but when you look like me (black), it makes you wonder aloud in your mind…we’re they closed, or were they...

Very good food and an interesting experience. I'm not necessarily too fond of organic and green leaves, but it was a pleasant meal. We enjoyed the full menu, which had a lovely blend of tastes, colors and textures. Particularly liked the carpaccio and the fried "munk". Different and well planned menu. Good selection of beers. Recommend their own from the tap. Especially if you like a beer with some taste, without it going full IPA. Very good service and a big thank you to our waitress which helped us identify the make of their sugar bowl. My girlfriend will definitely get one of those when we...

The meal was such a joyous example of Scandinavian cuisine. I had the vegetarian tasting menu and the servers were knowledgeable enough to really delve into the details of each of the elements for each course. Ranging from the use of seeds, making their own (not a) burrata, to adding an incredible lift to the lemon curd dessert with a wild herbs reduction. Each of the dishes had playful elements, and the flavour additions really succeeded in elevating the classics. As an added bonus, I had a hard time believing that such great wine choices were around in what is famously not a wine...

We had an amazing time at Kolonihagen. They accommodated our group of 8 really well (even though our initial reservation had only been for 6 people by my mistake). We ended up taking the 5 course menu which was absolutely breathtaking. Great creations, locally sourced. You can also substitute dishes or go for a vegetarian / vegan menu. Service was really friendly, taking the time to explain every course in detail and even surprising us with a little something at the end. I would definitely recommend this place!
