Hasle Linie Gastropub — Restaurant in Oslo

I used to be a regular at "Hasle Linie Gastropub," and it was a favorite spot during my parental leave. However, my recent visit was disappointing. Last week, my wife and I stopped by, and I suggested dining there. My wife wanted to enjoy her favorite coffee from "W.B. Samson - Hasle," which is right in front of the Gastropub. I suggested she grab the coffee and join me while I ordered our food.

We placed our food order, and when the waitress saw my wife with her coffee and our baby in a stroller, she informed us that my wife couldn't drink her coffee there, despite the fact that we had also ordered food. This was both unexpected and unwelcoming.

I expressed my disappointment and decided to cancel our food order, which the waitress readily encouraged. The encounter left a sour taste in our mouths due to the rude and unwelcoming behavior.

I won't be returning to "Hasle Linie Gastropub," and I won't recommend...

Terrible service!!!

the whole food experience was terrible. little taste in several of the dishes. when you order 0.5l of beer, you get 0.4 glasses. you get white wine in an Aperol glass. if you have celiac disease, you will not be told about this. even if you have told us about this in advance. she with celiac disease, did not get food. 3 people ordered fish and chips, only 2 got the dish. the last one was forgotten. one of the group had to eat alone when the food finally arrived. there were not many guests. will never go back there. steer away!!! There are better restaurants to choose from nearby. can't order a 0.5l beer, you only get 0.4l and when you complain, they fill the 0.4 glass to the max full...the waiter carefully balanced so she didn't spill the glass to the table....seriously bad experience. don't understand they are still allowed...

I know they make most of their money during their dinner service, but my favorite time to come in is during the week day for lunch. When I was on mammaperm, this place was always a favorite because there is lots of room for strollers and there are many choices for food. They also often have a lunch deal so the prices are pretty good. My husband and I love going back to lunch now just the two of us and we are always happy to get a cold Pepsi...
