I used to love this place until 5th visit. But I was heavily disappointed in my 6th visit. I had ordered mutton choila and I was served mutton curry and rice. Being a Nepali, I know what choila dish is but the owner said âNorwegians likes different taste so we changed the recipeâ. May be he placed us the order cancelled by someone and thought he can do whatever he wants to his customers. I had gone with my guests from Germany so I didnât want to create a fuss there infront of my guests so I tolerated. Recently, I moved on from that bad experience and visited again. And my 7th visit to this restaurant was a complete disaster. MO:MO quality was so much downgraded (2/10) and biryani was a complete mess (5/10). As a Nepali customer, I shared my taste experience to owner saying I visited because I used to love the taste but it has completely changed now. The owner again mentioned âNorwegians like change of tasteâ. How much stupid is it! I thought people become a regular customer because they love the specific taste of a restaurant. Not acknowledging the feedback and trying to avoid it with the excuse saying Norwegians like change of taste is the worst act. I am never going back to this restaurant again. Thanks for a good taste till...
Read moreI ordered 4 dishes from this place, all vegetarian and all so rich and flavorful it's impossible to find the one that sticks out.
The Korma sauce was incredible, full-bodied, creamy and Restaurant-worthy Junk-food. Leaving your fat cravings dead. Their vegetable Biryani(phlau) was maybe the most flavorful I've ever had of its kind. In addition we had two amazing side dishes Harabara Sabji Tikki and the veg. Samosa. Luckily the Samosa was pretty spicy because the other dishes were somewhere between mild-medium and there were no options regarding their spice-level either.
I've been to countless asian restaurants, indian/pakistani specifically and I have to say this might be my number one. All 4 dishes get 5 stars each. I highly recommend Harabara Sabji as side-dish or appetizer. It tasted similar to a dish someone's parents made for us when I was a kid. Haven't tasted anything like it since. I hope Harabara Sabji stays on their menu forever. Cant wait to try more...
Read moreThe food was tasteless, except for the mango lassi â it was really good (though they added ice without mentioning it). The garlic naan was more like garlic bread than actual naan. Mo:Mo dumplings (chicken tareko Mo:Mo) were quite bland. The Himalayan non-veg mixed grill was just chicken (6 pieces, all with the same taste, just different colors). The atmosphere felt almost like being in a local Indian village. If you want to experience authentic Indian flavors, go to Khushi Indian Cuisine restaurant â...
