Design and Structure: The Akrobaten Bru is renowned for its unique, acrobatic design, characterized by flowing curves and dynamic lines that mimic the movement of acrobats. This bridge is not only functional but also serves as an artistic landmark, enhancing the visual appeal of the surrounding area. Purpose: The bridge facilitates safe passage for pedestrians and cyclists, encouraging eco-friendly transportation. Its construction aimed to improve connectivity between the two neighborhoods and promote a more active lifestyle among residents. The Akrobaten Bru is more than just a bridge; it’s a celebration of design, functionality, and community spirit. Whether you’re crossing it to connect with the lively neighborhoods of Grünerløkka and Torshov or simply enjoying the views, it’s a must-visit spot in Oslo.

Oslo is full of beautiful architecture and this modern bridge is example of that. We made sure that we visit this bridge specially to view the beauty of it. Perfectly placed near tall buildings to make it more visible. It is very near to station makes it perfect place for feeling Oslo's modern architecture just when you arrive by train. If you get enough time do visit the neighborhood near by as there are some places to sit and have coffee and kids can play around. Beautiful buildings where many companies are having offices near to this bridge makes it more special and busy bridge.

A must must place to visit. It details out the Viking age and the expeditions. In the museum, are the recovered ships of the Viking age which were almost damaged when they were found. The archaeologists and their team , however managed well to identify, assemble and restore it. In some of the Viking ships, dead bodies were found , which are now preserved too and are available to see in the museum itself. The management's runs a 10 min short clip every 15 mins for the visitors to understand the story behind.
