A chill and trendy place I would recommend for lunch or a smaller snacks-dinner with friends. Its become quite a popular and hip place in Oslo, so do bear in mind that it is a little towards the pricey side. Yet, I really do think it is worth coming here for a little slice of Copenhagen in Oslo city center.

I enjoyed the food I ordered, which was prawns. Super tasty and great sides. The breakfast place perhaps a little boring - but hey, we might all prefer different meals.

Overall a trendy and cool place with both space inside and outside. Would definitely some again

Edit: I went back and the lunch selection was very limited - prawns, cheese place or...

Ok place if you are alone. You can bring a book and order something to eat. Dishes are not big but dont order more than one - staff gets confused and you cant be sure when and in which order your food will arrive at your table. They also genuinely and sweetly dont care - no one will ask you how you like your food, so you can read your book undisturbed. If on the other hand you come with a friend - then prepare to sit in front of your plate for 15-30 minutes waiting for their's or let them pick from your plate. Alternative is to have a coffee or coctail and eat somewhere else. Food here sounds better than it...

Hipster culture did not die in the 2010s. It's still alive and kicking at Kafeteria August. Service was poor, and the staff is just too cool to care. Or that was the impression we got. The toilets on the other hand was actually cool. Definitely not the place if you have dietary restrictions. Probably a great place for influencers, wannabe hipsters and Holmboe Bang...

I can definitely not recommend this place… we came here to drink a nice coffee and have a nice afternoon. The services was really unfriendly.. we didn’t feel welcome at all. One of our friends wanted no coffee and they didn’t have anything like a hot chocolate. And in the end the coffee was alright. Aber der Kaffe wurde einem regelrecht hingeknallt….
