We had such a memorable experience at Raffine in Oslo. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful — the interior design is elegant, unique, and clearly very thoughtfully put together. They’ve paid close attention to every detail, even including a piece borrowed from the National Museum of Lebanon, which made the atmosphere feel truly special.

The food was a perfect balance of authentic Lebanese flavors with a modern twist. While the presentation was stylish and creative, the essence of traditional Lebanese cuisine was very much preserved — so the dishes tasted genuinely traditional while looking modern and refined.

We went for the Land/Earth Mezze menu (for three people), which turned out to be incredibly generous — we couldn’t even finish it. One small suggestion would be to serve the main courses first and then bring out the mezze, as the amount of food can be overwhelming.

Our host was wonderful — a young woman who was attentive, kind, and very polite. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name, but she made our evening even better.

We also tried the Sumac cocktail, which was refreshing, flavorful, and something different — highly recommended!

Overall, Raffine is a bit on the pricier side, but considering the atmosphere, the service, and the amount and quality of food, it is well worth it. Definitely one of Oslo’s gems for modern...

I had such a great experience at Raffiné – hands down one of the best Lebanese restaurants I’ve tried in Norway. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the whole meal. The food was absolutely delicious! I started with the Hummus Beiruti and Batata Harra – both were full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. The hummus was creamy and fresh, and the batata had just the right amount of spice. For my main, I ordered the Shish Taouk, and it was spot on – juicy, tender chicken with that authentic Lebanese marinade. It came with fluffy rice and a tasty garlic sauce that tied everything together beautifully. I also tried the Raffiné Mixed Grill, and honestly, it’s a great option if you want to sample a few different meats. Everything was grilled to perfection and super flavorful. Portions were generous too, which I really appreciated. To finish off, I had the Knefeh for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending – warm, cheesy, slightly crispy, and not overly sugary. What really stood out for me, besides the food, was the hospitality. You can tell the people working there care about what they do, and that makes a big difference I’ll definitely be back ! ...

…simply put, EXQUISITE!

Raffiné, is one of those rare diamonds that doesn’t come up often…but when you do find it and get exposed to the whole experience, you’re in for a treat.

Lebanese cuisine is a different kind of beast, is on another level. It doesn’t just happen. It’s food that needs preparation, effort, time and most importantly needs love to be created . I should know, I’m Greek and we share those exact principles.

Raffiné Is a space that’s elegant, sophisticated and gives you the sense of relaxation. There are so many details - big n’ small – that caught my eye the first time I was there, because of a company gathering. Went back a second time alone and utilized the bar to have some amazing wine from their solid and very interesting selection, alongside some small dishes that they proposed me. Did I say alone? Yes, but ended up having great conversations and laughters with the owners and also the kind and polite people that work there! Sure I’ll go back, since it’s also the perfect setup for a date.

Raffiné is an experience. If u’re in Oslo, you have no real excuse not to visit and imerse your self in imense pleasure! I couldn’t...

Raffiné is a newly open gem of a restaurant and wine bar. It's located in a quiet and lovely street in the city centre. In it, you will find the largest selection of wines from the ancient wine countries, i.e. Lebanon, Georgia, etc. It's a great option if you are looking to enjoy some glasses with friends or a significantly other, but you can also relish in a lovely selection of authentic Lebanese food. There is an a la carte menu, but the star of the show is their 10 course tasting menus. They come in three variants: vegetarian, meat, and seafood. We went for the meat option (by the land), which I would recommend as it contained some of my personal highlights, including the beef tartar and chicken citrus. However, it shares some other fantastic options with the vegetarian option (by the earth) such as phylo blossoms and of course authentic hummus and tabboule. The restaurant has a well-thought out design and a lovely atmosphere, with comfortable seating. There is also an outdoor seating option for smaller groups. All in all, a fantastic option for your next dinner or wine adventure.

A 5 star experience in every detail. The welcome, the music, the decor, the food, the drinks, the service. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re coming to Raffiné expecting home-like, typical Lebanese food, this is not the place for you. The food here is elevated, authentic Lebanese, with a twist. We went for the Tasting menu «from the land» with the hot food, and it was MORE than enough. The tabbouleh was by far the best one I’ve had in a looooooong time. I was scooping out the juices with the spoon and slurping it. The chicken sous-vide style, was so juicy and rich with flavors. The pistachio Knefeh cheesecake was to die for. And did I mention their massive wine selection?! We tried some wonderful Clos St. Thomas white to sip on after we were done eating, and a lovely Georgian white I can’t remember the name of. As for we paired with the food, we went for the classic Lebanese, our all time favorite Almaza Pilsner Lebanese beer which we couldn’t find anywhere else in Norway. Raffiné exceeded my expectations in so many ways, I’m already looking forward to going back.
