Cafe Amsterdam — Restaurant in Oslo

Not as advertised. This is advertised as a dutch establishment in norway with English speaking staff.

The staff is norsk. There is nothing wrong with that unless you advertise otherwise.

The place isn't very dutch either; it's a typical Norwegian establishment that has a theme like every Norwegian establishment, this theme happens to be dutch.

That said, they have grolsch on tap and serve Kaas soufflé, bamiballen and bitterballen which is why they get two stars instead of just one.

Had they advertised it for what it is I would have given...

What a wonderful cafe!!! Stopped by for a most lovely cup of tea, and was so surprised to meet some wonderful Norwegian retirees!! How fun to chat with friendly people at this magical cafe!! The staff is so wonderful, the decor is so unique, and the food is fabulous. This is a locals favorite and make it your new destination for a fully fun experience!!! P.S. Even the bathrooms are...

A nice place to grab a few beers. Quite pricey, so most people will probably prefer going elsewhere eventually. I'm sorry to say that the food was awful (1 Chicken Burger and 1 Amsterdam Burger, both with fries).
