Dear Lekter'n Management,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unfortunate experience my husband and I had at your establishment today. We visited Lekter'n at Aker Brygge around 12:15 PM and encountered several issues with both the service and the food.
Upon arrival, we used the self-service mobile scanning system to place our order. I ordered a chicken sandwich and an iced tea, while my husband ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. The burger description did not indicate the inclusion of bacon.
When our food arrived, my husband received regular fries instead of sweet potato fries and his burger had bacon, which was not mentioned in the menu description. We promptly informed the server, Vivian, of the mistakes. She acknowledged the error and mentioned that we had overpaid since we were charged for bacon. My husband, pressed for time, requested a quick resolution.
Vivian later returned with the corrected order but demanded an additional 18 kroner for the sweet potato fries, despite our explanation that we had already paid for them. My husband reminded her that she mentioned a refund for the bacon, suggesting that the extra charge could be offset. Vivian then retracted her statement and, in an extremely rude and arrogant manner, removed the food from our table, insisting on the extra charge.
Her unprofessional behavior and lack of an apology for the inconvenience left us feeling highly dissatisfied with our experience. This is not the standard of service we expected from Lekter'n.
We hope that this matter can be addressed promptly and appropriately. We believe that a gesture to rectify this situation would be appropriate, and we would appreciate a response outlining how this issue will be resolved to prevent such occurrences in the future.
Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreArrived, greeted coldly by the hostess: “ sit anywhere you like”. Bar wouldn’t accept cash, so, ordered via QR code at the table. Two minutes later noticed a waitress going around the restaurant with a basket of fries (one of the side dishes ordered), not knowing which table it belonged to (really?! With QR code ordering?!) I wasn’t sure either to whom the fries belonged of course, it could have been any table who ordered before me. After going back and forth for 10 minutes and visiting all the tables, the waitress finally landed at my table. Said “did you order fries?” I said yes, but I don’t want those! They’ve been touring the restaurant for 10 minutes! I want hot fries! She then claimed that she’d asked me at the beginning whether they were mine! NOBODY had spoken to me me at the table till then! She was rude and did not care at all about the customer. I insisted on fresh hot fries - especially as none of the food or drinks had arrived yet. A full 10 minutes later, half the food and the drinks arrived. Two identical beers were in completely different glasses with names of different beers written on them! The fries were overdone. Another customer told us that the mechanism for draft beer had broken down, and they could get bottled beer only. I got up to go to the WC. I was told by a waitress that I couldn’t do so “because birds would come to my table”! The other half of the food arrived a full 5 minutes after the first half. The standard of food was below average at best. The trouble is I left 5% tip when I ordered and paid the food. Should have left 0%. Bad service, bad food, terrible attitude, poorly trained unintelligent grumpy staff. AVOID if you...
Read moreAfter years of traveling for work and eating in hundreds of resturants, this is the first time i've been tilted enough to write a review:
No manager/employee to greet you at the entrance and show you to a free table.
After wondering on my own through the resutrant, ekwardly looking for a free table, i finally find one all the way in the back.
Digital ordering after covid: 15min later i ask a random waiter whats going on, he proceeds to fetch another waiter. She then goes to investigate.
She comes back saying the order has not gotten through the system, but its on the way.
20-25min after the initial order a waiter comes with a gin and tonic that tastes like it was made a couple days ago.
I ask waiter why it took so long, he proceeds to say its because they are busy. I say then i wont be back.
He smacks back at me with an attitude, saying thats my problem.
I will probably never return, and i do recommend mostly every other resturant here at the docks. Its the most...
