A slightly tired concert venue. Having said that, the Oslo Philharmonic were really excellent and it is definitely worth seeing them if you can. Be aware that if you are watching a performance with soloists they will be using microphones. Quite unusual for a serious classical concert. It would be better to hire soloists who are able to project. Also that if you are at either end of the front row your primary view will be the exit stairs - as pictured.

The experience was nice, the audio felt clear enough and the ticketing works well. We enjoy a well organised wine at intermission, so that put me in a good mood. As we got there late, it was not our fault. The usher, he directed us to our seats with no spot torch. The step edge was invisible to me so I fall into someone else. Not Good 😭.

Amazing concert hall, built in 1977. Very good acoustics, the inside is made of 100% Mahagoni. The architecture in general is impressive and you feel very comfortable. Each seat has its own wardrobe which is kind of cool and makes things easier. Especially from the inside it’s very noble wherever you look at.

Very bad experience! We went to see Ludovico Einaudi and we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we would have wanted. At the start time, there were people still coming in, which is def not the worst part. Ludovico started playing a few min past the start time and people were continuously coming in. Others had to stand to let them through which should not be happening once a concert has started. I believe the latest people coming in were at least 30 min late. Why they were allowed in? On top of this, at least 20 people dropped their phones during the concert and the coughs were contagious so I could not enjoy some of my favourite songs beaches I was super distracted and annoyed from being distracted. Oh! And at the beginning of the concert I had to look back and stare at a couple that wanted to talk about something that I guess could not wait. A concert place is to listen, not to talk or to be taking photos! Another super distracting thing, why were people taking photos in a dark and calm concert while everybody else is there to listen and enjoy the concert? Very disrespectful! To the musician and everybody that went there because they love his music!!! Very disappointing to travel all the way to...

I was expecting something more vibrant and modern from the Oslo Concert Hall, but the experience felt outdated, dry, and lacking in energy. The venue itself seemed old and unimpressive, and the staff didn’t come across as particularly warm or welcoming. As someone who attends international conferences regularly, I found the atmosphere flat and uninspiring—nothing stood out, and it simply didn’t meet the expectations I had for Norway or Europe...
