Good: ✅ Best breakfast ever! I appreciated the healthier options such as plain yogurt (with many available toppings), porridge fresh from a cast iron kettle, real eggs prepared on site (fried, scrambled, soft boiled, and hard boiled), grilled vegetables, and a variety of fresh squeezed juices. To add, the service and tastefully decorated dining area were first class all the way. ✅ Excellent location. In about five minutes, walk to the waterfront, attractions, parks, groceries, shops, and many restaurants. ✅ Super friendly employees at the front desk—making this English-speaking tourist feel right at home. ✅ Fast elevator. ✅ All areas (both public or in room) were perfectly clean. ✅ Room was beautifully decorated, just like the rest of the hotel. I appreciated the safe, water boiler, conveniently placed outlets for charging devices, and roomy walk-in shower with soap/shampoo. Room type: Superior.
Bad: ❌ If living out of your luggage, even with the room being somewhat spacious, there was not a good place for bags. I’ve seen some rooms handle this better with even less space.
In summary, this hotel was about as good as it gets and I highly recommend. I’ll always remember that...
Read moreGreat location, cute decor, decent breakfast and pleasant surprise about the light evening meal being included, also very friendly staff BUT Was provided a room at the end of a large corridor, I could hear the tram (until 1 a.m) and CLUB music (until 3 a.m) on a Monday night. Headed to reception and they seemed to be aware of this issue, which was sad considering they were in no way at full capacity and they decided to place me there knowing about the issue. They responded saying they could call the club to lower the volume but that it would be finishing soon (3 am). The following day they changed my room but I still missed a whole night of sleep. Not what you pay for precisely..
Both the rooms I was provided (and most in this hotel) face an inside breakfast courtyard, not the beautiful outside views that I was misled with in the website. It was ok when higher up in the building but at level 2 or 3 it means 0 privacy and having to keep curtains shut all the time.
I wasn't compensated in any way for an uncomfortable stay and, the worst, sharing my experience I found out about someone who had the exact same issue with the noise.
I won't be...
Read moreA really excellent hotel with the most amazing breakfast. I have stayed here on 2 occasions, once during Norway Cup for 8 nights which is a huge soccer tournament in Oslo every summer. My stay was July 2024. The second time was February 2025 for 1 night as we were traveling from up north and stayed in Oslo for a day.
Both experiences were excellent. The hotel staff is fantastic. Special mention for Jeorge who does an excellent job handling the restaurant area. He was very kind to me and my children on both trips.
I really like this hotel. The location is great, the design is a lot of fun boutique style, and the service is top-notch. It also has a nice lounge area and fitness room. My only suggestion is that I like the rooms on the cooler side and the thermostat has very limited functionality. During the summer trip my window faced the street so it wasn’t a problem. During the winter trip my window opened to the atrium so I couldn’t get the room as cool as I would have liked. I’m sure if I mentioned something they could have helped me, but it’s just a minor comment. ...
