Winther Artisan Food & Restaurant — Restaurant in Oslo

I’m sorry to say, a very disappointing visit. We were four people who came in for late dinner in a not so busy restaurant. Me and one of my friends ordered one of the “set menus” which all in all was just ok but we would have liked for the waiter to explain what we got on our plates. Two friends ordered the carbonara which was beyond disappointing. When they told the waiter the pasta was TOO al dente (in all fairness is was barely cooked) he said nothing but just laughed to himself and then walked away without them being able to tell him whatelse was wrong with the dish (which there was) or him asking what he could do for them. We then saw the chef starting to remake the pasta and had to run up and say that they didn’t want new ones because they’d lost their appetite and us other two had already finished our meal.

There was no music and spotlights were full on without any mood lights. Many things adding up…there’s big room for improvement here, both food and...

Its Amazing food really. But we were just there to celebrate my girls birthday. The waiter missunderstood that we wanted a bottle rather than glasses of prosecco. Then wanted to charge us for the glasses that he missunderstood. Claiming well it is a birthday. The food was so good so after finding the first piece of hair we didnt want to complain but after the second hair we found we had to say something. So then we got a new pizza. But no discount on the bill and charged us for two glasses of prosecco that we never ordered. And so to the dessert when we got a new waitress she forgot to take our order (took forever) so we ended up going to another place. The food would have this place at 5 stars service...

We went on a Friday night with our four year old daughter. They were incredibly welcoming to all of us (not always the case when you show up at a nice restaurant with a rambunctious child). The service was friendly and fantastic. I wish I had gotten the waitress's name - she was lovely!

We ordered the pizza flight and absolutely were stuffed by the end! We had three pizzas: white sauce with mint and crispy panchetta; homemade mozzarella with spinach and spekemat, and spicy andoille. All of them were incredible! The tiramisu was the best I've ever had (homemade...
