Syrian restaurant has shawarma beef and chicken. Also has a small sweets section.

The beef shawarma had a lot of unchewable fat/meat. I don't recommend the beef shawarma at all. The chicken shawarma was okay. The chicken strips needs more seasonings. The coleslaw need more flavours also. Garlic sauce need more garlic kick. The mini meze was tasty but its prices as a plate, so not very much worth it. The tables had no cutleries and the water was served with small plastic cups. We ordered hummus and shawarma. It came without bread and had to ask twice for bread and received a full bread piece not sliced not heated!

The big plate they call mansaf, is basically adding the prices of whatever you add to it, so technically if you order the plates separately it's cheaper, as you get more food, so it's just a marketing show, bad marketing show though. The kunnafe with kishta was tasty 😋. The restaurant overall is small and busy. A LOT of room for improvements especially the beef shawarma.

The staff was very kind and welcoming but the food might be okay for Norwegian standards but very far from the true Syrian flavours. Will try other Shawarma restaurants before I come again if I come again! I would come for the kunafe, and wish to see cheese kunafe not only kishta.

شاورما اللحم كانت تحتوي على الكثير من اقطع الدهون واللحم غير القابل للمضغ. لا أنصح بشاورما اللحم إطلاقًا. شاورما الدجاج كانت جيدة عادية. قطع الدجاج (ستربس) تحتاج إلى المزيد من التوابل. السلطة (كولسلو) بحاجة إلى نكهات أكثر. صوص الثوم يفتقر إلى نكهة الثوم القوية. الميزا الصغير كان لذيذًا، لكنه يُسعّر كسعر طبق، وبالتالي لا يستحق الثمن كثيرًا. الطاولات لم يكن عليها أدوات طعام، والماء قُدّم في أكواب بلاستيكية صغيرة. طلبنا حمص وشاورما، وتم تقديمهما بدون خبز واضطررنا لطلب الخبز مرتين، وحين جاءنا كان قطعة خبز كاملة غير مقطعة ولا مسخنة، ولا أي شيء!

الطبق الكبير الذي يسمونه "منسف" هو في الحقيقة عبارة عن جمع أسعار الأطباق التي تضيفها عليه، وبذلك يكون طلب الأطباق بشكل منفصل أرخص، أي أنه مجرد استعراض، وأداة تسويق سيئة. الكُنافة بالقشطة كانت لذيذة جدًا. المطعم صغير ومزدحم بشكل عام. يوجد الكثير من المجال للتحسين، خاصة في شاورما اللحم او حذفها تماما.

الطاقم كان لطيفًا ومرحّبًا جدًا، لكن الطعام قد يكون مقبولًا حسب المعايير النرويجية، لكنه بعيد جدًا عن النكهات السورية الحقيقية. قد أعود فقط لأجل الكُنافة، وأتمنى أن يقدموا كُنافة بالجبنة وليس...

The restaurant forces you to give good reviews, disappointing

Sultan has been hit and miss. Food is good but service is questionable. Pricey restaurant.

Please don't force customers to give you good reviews. Tell them to give you honest reviews. It's also very rude to touch a customer's phone without their permission to get a review. If you want to ask a customer for a review then a polite way is to give them a 5-10% discount. It was very intimidating when your staff member was taking customers name and telling them he will check their review....

Really good and authentic shawarma. We had a chicken shawarma roll tallarekken,which has some fries,coleslaw and pickled veggies. The garlic sauce was amazing and unlike the kebabs that we usually get around in Oslo this one didn't have any other sauces and it was perfect. This place is also a must try for some authentic warm Kunafa. Perfect after meal dessert. They also have separate middle eastern sweets and pastry section. The place is open till quite late in...
