As a Malaysian chinese, it felt like the food was insulting. Normally I do not put bad reviews as it affects the business drastically, but this was just unacceptable. 3 months of living in Europe of several countries eating types of asian food, ESPECIALLY chinese food, this was not even decent at best. No offense to the Singaporean reviews, but you guys' taste are so bad. On this point forward I will definitely not trust a Singaporean taste buds, but i digress, heres the actual review.

Food: Sweet Spicy Chicken It did not taste good. It tasted so weird, it felt like I was just eating kimchi. It smelt like thailandnese chili sauce, but with the buffalo wing kick that hurts your nose when you smell it. It tasted like kimchi, but it was just full of spice and sour, but the sour comes with a weird aftertaste of bitterness. The only good comment I'll give about this dish will only be the rice and the chicken, excluding the sauce. The rice is actually good, not overcooked mush, and it has good texture and taste fresh. The chicken is also taste fresh, which unfortunately the sauce really ruined the whole dish.

Overall: The whole dish tasted more like a korean dish with a chinese cultured take of meat + rice combination, but did not quite add up together. If you do want to try out the food here, be my guest, but I would personally recommend not choosing the sweet spicy chicken, unless you are into korean kimchi taste.

Note: I hate wasting food, but this was the only restaurant that I have ever gone and eat food, sat down and ate with an empty stomach, and did not finish the food and actually walked away feeling...

This is one of my two favorite Asian restaurants in Oslo, and I recommend you try the 1) hand-pulled noodles, 2) handmade dumplings, and the 3) sweet and spicy chicken. The noodles are chewy and fatty flavor bombs, and the dumplings and the sauce are a juicy reminder of food back at home. I say this as a Korean-American who spent the last 5 years in San Francisco, and has eaten copious amounts of Asian food in Korea, Japan, China, and at home.

I would like to write a disclaimer that this does not include Vietnamese food. Vietnamese are the 4th largest immigrant population in Norway, so there seems to be a wealth of Vietnamese food around Oslo. Therefore, I think it deserves a category of its own.

If you love reading reviews as much as I like writing them, the following is for you:

I can see and feel the care that the women and men put into their dishes They have a small menu and everything on their menu has a reason for being there They have wifi, so if you need to grab a meal and get stuff done, you can do both There is a lot of seating; you'll see once you walk in, there's a larger area inside It's a great place to grab dinner with a group of friends at the end of the week They serve beer and cider for all those who want to loosen up a bit Very reasonably priced with good portions, so if you and your friend aren't that hungry, you can easily share a rice or noodle dish as a snack Admittedly, the ambience could be a little more lively with some music, but easily a place you can fill with the laughter of you and your...

Had a meal here with family and the food was okay it had good spice. But their service was terrible, absolutely had no respect for customers at all. When we order the food and paid for it at the beginning, we asked for extra side plates to eat from, since we are sharing. The cashier said yes that is no problem, they will provide us extra plates. When we got all our food, I went up and ask for extra plates. She said no, then the cook from the back said they don't have enough plates for us and told us they will not give us any extra and they showed us they had 10 plates. Why even show us you have extra plates and not give to us? So we went on to combined our food on a few plates and share plates on our table. While we are eating, the cook came to our table and told us we have to put our plates back to the return area. This was after 2 tables just finished eating and left their plates on the table. So I asked why we had to put the plate away but the other tables did have to? At this time we were still eating. She said because you are still here. This was so unreasonable, she was really mean, rude, demanding about it. My family and I were all so shock and disappointed how rude the cook is, we felt not welcomed at all. We will never come back and we hope we are able to help people be aware of the rude service and...

Nice food, less nice place. I think that’s the simplest and easiest way to sum up this place. I had the lamb spicy noodles and found them to be really nice. Spicy, chewy and fresh. Definitely noodles I would eat again. Portion size also solid, which is always a plus. Prices are fair. 205nok for a bowl of broad Chinese spicy noodles - guess that’s what you pay everywhere these days (or perhaps even lower than average). The place itself is not as nice as the food. The interior is bare to nothing, most tables are outside in the shopping centre corridor and the place is a bit sad. Here, take away is your friend. The kitchen, and especially since it’s open to the guests, would benefit largely from both a cleaning and some organisation. Some love would do this place wonders.

The dumplings were very good. They are really authentic and this is something you could get served in China. It is affordable (in Norwegian standard) and it does not try to be fancy, just very very delicious hand made dumplings. Best I have ever tasted in Norways and also the most reasonably priced. I like they don't have any fusion dishes or food "westerners might like", but rather focus on making real dumplings and noodles. Only minus was that you are asked to order with QR code and mobile phone. Probably some leftover after Covid 😅 But if you ask nicely, you will be allowed to order at the counter (which I think is much nicer).
