We had the 10-course menu and it was such a fun and flavorful experience! Our favorites were the «Kremet skalldyrsuppe» and «Sprø østerssopp Gochujang», although each dish was unique with wonderful flavor combinations. The whole course felt so thoughtfully put together, and you could really tell the chefs knew what they were doing.

On top of that the service was spot on! The staff were super attentive, always ready to top up our glasses or clear the table without ever feeling intrusive. We also went with the waiter’s recommendation of a German and an Italian beer, which paired surprisingly well with the dishes and added to the experience.

We had the exquisite 10 course seasonal menu served with an upgraded wine package. World class quality food, amazing culinary arts from the kitchen, and fitting quality wines to every dish.

The deer we got served was the undisputed highlight of the meal. Tender game with an excellent wine pairing made for a perfect 5th course.

Statholderen were troopers and made a three-course vegan meal for my friend and me (booked ahead so they could prepare!) The food was all very flavourful with interesting textures, a kombucha-granité of particular interest! Quirky, but delicious, very creative! The basement gets a little loud because of the vaulted ceilings, so be prepared for that. Service was very knowledgaeble, but perhaps like a touch uptight? Is that snobby of me to say?
