Nationaltheatret — Local services in Oslo

We were visiting Oslo for a couple of days. The inspector stopped us at the National Theatre on our last day as we were taking the Oslo Metro back to our hotel in the evening. He claimed that I had only recently purchased the ticket after I showed him mine, even though we had already purchased it before boarding the train. He was disrespectful and the officer misused his authority and humiliated us didn't listen to anything, even though I did have proof, which I also gave him. I informed him that we were visitors and would be departing Oslo the following day. He consistently refused to listen to my explanations and, in the end, simply remarked, "Welcome to Oslo." I complied with his request and gave him my ID. He made every effort to send me a fine, but he was unable to do so because we were visitors without an established address in Norway. The best and easiest downtown station to connect between trains and metro. Walk indoors with only short distances compared to OSLO S. Beware, possibly not the best connection for Airport xpress train (flytoget) which you do not really need anyhow as most trains now are...
