There is space for about 20 guest or so and the small kitchen is completely open and that seems to be in fashion these days. The menu is à la carte and there are snacks and small dishes. They aim to change the menu frequently so that you can get something different when you re-visit. We had a few dishes to share and asked if we could start with a snack and two dishes and they said we could get the food in whatever order we wanted. We started with a ceviche of halibut with sea buckthorn , pan fried hake (lysing) and toast with anchovies. I don’t think I have had ceviche on sea buckthorn before and this was delicious. I do like sea buckthorn and here we got lovely chunks of fish, onion and cancha. Cancha is a puffed jumbo corn and had a great starchy taste. The hake was amazing! Pan fried to perfection and with mouthwatering brown butter, creamy cauliflower mash and hazelnuts. It would have been lovely with a small bread to be able to scoop of the very last drop of that brown butter! The toast was crunchy and topped with ricotta, anchovies and just a bit of lemon. Great taste combinations but it would have been good with a warm bread. The next round of food was pumpkin risotto and beef tartare. I love risotto and this was done right! Creamy, rich, lots of parmesan and with chunks of pumpkin. The tartare was also lovely as løyrom caviar was mixed in to give a bit of saltiness and it was served on some mayo. In the very end, I had some apple compote, vanilla custard and topped with granola.

Thanks BRAVO for a great meal in a...

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I want to give a big thank you to the amazing team at BRAVO. I celebrated a truly memorable birthday night here last week with a friend, and everything — from the food to the service — was exceptional.

The staff were incredibly proactive and knowledgeable, recommending local Norwegian brews and wine that paired beautifully with our dishes. Their passion really added to the experience!

We started with the Anchovy Toast with Lemon Zest — the fresh lemon fragrance hit before the first bite, and the balance of flavor was perfect. We followed it with the Nduja Toast, which had a bolder taste — a smart contrast that let us really appreciate both.

For mains, we had the catch of the day and chicken leg. Both dishes felt like a creative fusion, beautifully plated and absolutely delicious.

Dessert was a standout: Rhubarb with yoghurt sorbet and crumble. I had never tried yoghurt sorbet before, and it blew me away! The staff also recommended a dessert wine, Élodie, which paired perfectly and ended the meal on a high note.

Thank you again for the warm service and unforgettable food. **BRAVO is the best restaurant I visited during my entire...

Bravo is a restaurant that is simply pulsing with a passion for food. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly as if we were regulars. Every single person who interacted with us from the wait staff to the chef were so effortlessly friendly and really wanted us to have the best possible experience. Truly amazing - it felt like we were the only people in the restaurant. The chef himself stopped by at least 4 times. The quality of the service alone would bring us back!

The four of us took the tasting menu, which comprised of a set of just amazing dishes - each one a real masterpiece that was as beautiful to look at as it was to eat.

Much of the ingredients were locally sourced and top-notch. Then, it was beautifully composed on the plate. The wine pairings as well were thoughtfully done, all adding to this magnificent experience.

We visited for the first time but will definitely come back. Run to this place before it gets its first Michelin star! But it won't be your last...

Just run to this restaurant. They need a Michelin star. Chef Daniel is unpretentious and is a creative genius. Each dish is unique, has its own Love story, and is a flavor explosion. Restaurant is small, cozy, special and just all the great vibes. By far the best place I ate in 2 weeks vacation in Norway. It’s only been around 2 yrs but I’m telling you, this restaurant is going places. Potato dish is amazing. You want to bathe in it. Or marry it. Told Daniel that he needs to name it Marry me potatoes. Tartare and ceviche were my fave dishes. I had 6 incredible courses tonight w a wine pairing. So very happy. Every single person on the staff is beyond amazing.
