Breiavatnet is a small lake in the municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. The 0.031-square-kilometre lake is very shallow, only a few feet deep. The lake gets its water from the Kannikbekken stream, which flows from the Mosvatnet lake and runs through the city.

Beautiful lake that greeted me as soon as I arrived in Stavanger via bus after an almost 20 hr journey from India! It was very serene in the early morning and a few people where walking around the lake. Perfect place to relax and feed the birds/ducks if you're into that! It's so green here that it makes you so happy!

Stavanger sentrums kjerne. Vakkert enhver årstid Og alltid nydelig belysning vinterstid. Flotte store og gamle trær rundt vannet, og ellers variert og nydelig beplantning utført av kommunens gartnere. Bypaviljongen perfekt til diverse konserter, appeller mm. Omkranset av Stavanger Katedral Skole (også kalt Kongsgård) - og vår vakre Domkirke.

Bra med benker og duer, svaner og ender i vannet og ved paviljongen (duene).

Pluss for å arrangementer som julemarked, sommeraktiviteter for barn om sommeren ++++
