Unfortunately I am not fit to rate the restaurants food, because I never got to try it. We ordered a 4 course meal in advance. Upon arrival, it took the staff 10 minutes to even acknowledge us, despite some of them just leaning against the wall looking bored. We were given somewhere to sit, but after, we were not checked on again until 40 minutes later. We were then asked what we wanted to drink. After 1 hour, we were told the food was never registered, so we had to order over again. At that point we told them we wanted to go elsewhere, as we were really hungry. The egg-in-sauce (ajitama) was unfortunately overcooked. The ramen was served with a regular spoon instead of a ramen one, making the eating experience a little awkward. Read moreDefinitely I can say that Amber restaurant is in my top 10 worst places to eat ever. And for sure number 1 in Trondheim. We ate 3 different type of sushi, none of which was even close to eatable, let alone delicious. The service was a complete joke from people trying in very ridiculous way to be polite. The bill was inflated wrongly or not. Being completely honest the location and the interior are good and cozy. I can go on and on here, but I think that the main point is more than clear. I wouldn't recommend it even if this is your only option, better jump to Rema or Bunpris for...
