ØX Tap Room — Restaurant in Trondheim

Since my two week visit to Trondheim and from the last two year visits this OX Tap room has become my favorite place to grab a craft brew and pizza. They have other great items on the menu to eat which all sound great as well just haven’t had the time. To myself the most enjoyable time is the busiest. 2030 and later. Young and old both enjoying themselves talking and or playing board games. Brew equipment is centered in middle behind glass windows and old decedent lighting sets the mood with soft light. We had a good dinner here as a family of 6 on our recent trip to Norway. We were excited to try some different beers and the beer list here didn’t disappoint! While the drinks were excellent, some of our dishes were great while others were not so good. We liked the linguine, ravioli, and capricciosa pizza, but thought the panzerroti was not good at all and one of the other pizzas was cold. Their IPA was nice and clean. Nice body. True to the style. The Barley Wine was superb as well. A little sweeter than i am used to, but still very nice and smooth.

The vegetarian pizza was quite nice as well. Thin (almost cracker) crust like a proper milano pizza. Pizza oven must be a proper high heat brick oven cause the crust came out well cooked and not soggy (no residual water).
