Chef Renee is well known in the Trondheim culinary scene as a visionary who’s not afraid to experiment with new ideas.
I had the 5-course menu, which came with a few delightful extras by default: fresh bread, a pre-appetizer, and an after-dessert. The menu featured both meat and fish dishes, paired with vegetables. The flavors were unique and clearly crafted with skill—definitely not something you could easily recreate at home. I especially enjoyed the main courses with fish and meat.
That said, 3 out of the 5 dishes were a bit too sour for my taste. I’m not sure if that was intentional or a one-off, which is why I’m not giving a perfect rating for the food.
Service was great—friendly and attentive staff who introduced each dish and were happy to answer questions.

The main dish, and in particular the hollandaise, tasted like the food equivalent of a prepubescent CoD player (i.e. salty as f) making it literally inedible.
The dessert was not too salty in itself, but after four dishes being too salty you don't really want to finish off with a dessert consisting of salted caramel.
As no other reviews have mentioned this, I will give them the benefit of doubt and chop it up to the chef having a bad...
