Read moreLets start with the positives: -Location; its in the middle of town next to the bus stops. -Breakfast; Lots of variety and most of all, fresh bread and fruits. So much to choose from. 1up on the fact that they actually had hard boiled eggs. Bacon could be a bit more crispier, but its not raw. -Helpful and polite staff.
Then some negatives: -The hotel needs renovation/servicing. Things are literally falling apart. My room door lock stopped working and they changed my room as I was in a rush, which was sort of a downgrade. Got a double bed, but the room and shower were smaller and the view was to the airconditioning unit on the roof, rather than the street. -Instructions; room service has to be asked, which I didn't know until my 2nd to last night, so I didnt bother at that time. The radiator in the room had no instructions to turn on or off, figured that out by myself.
Listen, the hotel in that particular spot could really be competitive and there are others there too, but when you expect a 4 star hotel, its kinda upsetting when you get what you get. I would suggest an overhaul/modernization. Best breakfast I've had in a...
Read moreGod hotel, but could use a little touch up. Service was good. The first room i got was a little updated, but there been a little slack in the cleaning crew when i found a chicken nugget on the floor and the holderfor the shower head was broken. When i reported it, I got a new room. The new room was a little nicer room with more furniture and a better bed, but the bathroom could use a touch up. The tiles on the floor was damaged and the door for shower stall should be replaced or at least get renewed. And could loose the wall to wall carpet in the room as well. But all in all i liked the room. The breakfast was a little disappointing, but since we are in a epidemic period world wide (covid-19) that is expected, so i can't say what it's like when they are in a normal situation. The location i perfect. Located in the middle of Trondheim just a cross the street from Trondheim torg. Close to the main shopping street, mall's and of course Nidarosdomen and the other churches. There are planty of restaurants in the...
