We arrived around noon, the restaurant was almost full and unfortunately there was nobody at the front desk so we chose to take a seat on the terrace. The Italian waiter greeted and seated us at a table. After we ordered I was curious about the location so like every new restaurant I check out …I had to go the bathroom. Pros. - The entrance in the restaurant is amazing… this guys grow their own GREENS (basil, rosemary etc). If that’s not fresh, I don’t know what is. Big thumbs up for this amazing idea. All restaurant should have it. - The staff(waiters, bartender, chefs) looked like they knew what they were doing. - Italian waiter was smiling and being professional at all times. - The design of the bar was original… the marble and metallic finish looked great. - The beer dispenser placement was amazing… just wow… if somebody is curious about it hm…they should check the restaurant in person… totally worth it. - Some people would use the term ‘’business card’’ to describe the bathroom of a restaurant… so the bathroom here was spotless and very chic - We ordered pizza prosciutto e fungi. It was so tasty, fresh and the dough was perfect. - I ordered a Negroni cocktail. Almost balanced. Crisp. 8/10 Cons. - On the terrace stairs there were 4 trays full of dirty glasses, bottles, plates which could have been tipped over by a guest very easy… it seemed to me that the waiters needed some help. The area was cleaned eventually. - When the order arrived the coffee was spilled from the cup so the plate was a bit dirty All restaurants are amazing and most of the problems begin when restaurant owners forget that they feed people… and one of the most important rules of the restaurant business is ‘’Always provide the guest with clean food’’ Frati restaurant passed my ‘’test’’ so I totally recommend it. I will surely go back again soon.

I can only comment on the cocktail bar as that's the only thing I ordered here. I walked in from ØX downstairs after they recommended I order a cocktail upstairs, as I wanted to try their house akevitt in a non-premixed cocktail but they couldn't do it there. So once upstairs I ask the bartender what he could make with the akevitt, to be told that I must order from the menu. He hands me a menu, which contains no cocktails containing their akevitt as a main liquor, but at this point I'm committed, so i decide to order a 'Italian Razz' from the menu, a grappa based spur style with eggwhite. The bartender makes this with what I would consider shameful technique, adding the puree(the most viscous liquid) to the jigger last, checking the bar instructions twice, adds no eggwhite, shakes about twice, and pours me my drink. I ask 'does this have eggwhite' And he replies 'no' The bar instructions said no eggwhite, but the customer menu clearly states 'eggehvite' After all this, the cocktail was mid tier, with a heavy grappa flavor and not many redeeming qualities. This seems to represent a disconnect between intention and actual creation. Steer clear of the cocktails here, but the food looked good.

Interesting place to eat in with great ambience. Bar has racks of spirits artfully lit. As well as a restaurant it is also a microbrewery brewing it's own beers and distilling gin and other spirits. It seems a lot of people go there for the drink as much as the food - we didn't fancy paying £9+ for a beer so stuck with the free water! We thought the food was OK- the parma ham pizza didn't have much ham but tons of rocket. Similarly the lasagne was OK but not exceptional (worthy of 5 stars). I think the free bread & butter which came with the meal was the best!

The restaurant offers a great atmosphere with unique decor, and the staff is friendly. The food was tasty and delicious, making for an overall enjoyable experience. However, the indoor seating arrangement could be improved, as the tables are quite close together, making it difficult to move around and enjoy a comfortable dining experience, especially during dinner. On the positive side, the restaurant also offers outdoor seating, which adds to the overall pleasant ambiance.

Amazing experience! Very welcoming staff, great atmosphere and nice food! My pasta was a bit dry for my taste, but overall very good Italian restaurant. I would recommend it for a dinner with colleagues, meeting with friends or a romantic date. This place has a charming interior and candlelight in the evening. Also, there is a bar downstairs + guest WI-FI.

Great location, cosy place. The food was unfortunately a bit underwhelming. The Gnocchi was absolutely acceptable, but the was flat, came without bechamel sauce and lacked in taste. The waiter was nice, but nobody asked how our food was. For an Italian restaurant, serving Italian food, it was way below par. Would not recommend in this case.
