Food This place doesn’t offer authentic Thai food—it’s adapted to suit Western tastes, which wasn’t quite my thing.

The Spicy Scampi Salad was beautifully presented and tasted good.

The Spareribs, however, were mostly bones with very little meat. I wouldn’t recommend ordering them.

The Kokkens Favorit Suppe was quite bland. It was mostly just noodles in a not-so-flavorful broth. Maybe they call it the chef’s favorite because otherwise, no one would buy it.

The And med Chuchi Sauce was the best dish I had, but even that didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

Atmosphere As nice as an Asian restaurant can be, but I wouldn’t call it cozy—that’s just not the vibe of most Asian restaurants.

Service Polite but minimal.

Cost I came for dinner, and for the price, I expected more. Serving mostly bones and a plain soup with noodles didn’t...

We ordered the tasting menu for 3 persons. The price 289.5 NOK per person, as stated in Google, is not updated. The new price per person is 375 NOK. So we ended up paying 1125 NOK for 3 persons. I will strongly recommend to order the Ala Carte dishes, instead of the tasting menu.

Overall, food quality was not fantastic. Both the beef and pork were hard and difficult to chew. However, if you have experienced Western Foods for 2 weeks in a row, Thai food will be a good switch. Thai Boat soup noodle faired better, with peanut garnishing. Having tasted better Thai foods in Asia, the restaurant owner can do better to improve the quality of food. Even in Norway, Soi One in Alesund was much better...

Restaurant is on the second floor, it's quite generic, small rooms with few thai style decorations, nice and comfortable all in all. I ordered hot chili dish on a hot plate, however, the food was rather generic old times European asian food, the prominent flavours were garlic and perhaps stock or bouillon. There were no recognisable chilies in the dish that was supposed to be chili-based and could not distinguish any chilis in flavour either. A lot of meat and few carrots in beef stock is basically what I got. The service was nice and very friendly but otherwise it's perhaps not worth visiting, you can get similar thai curries in the freezer of eurospar...
