Golden Spoon Restaurant-Alkhuwair — Restaurant in Muscat

I visited Golden Spoon restaurant for lunch, decided to sit in the family cabins which are situated upstairs, we ordered Romali Rotti with Methi Mutter Malai and Fish Biriyani, the fish was kingfish, the order took almost 10-15 Minutes. The Romali roti was not thin as it usually is, and the Methi mutter was good was bit sweet, the fish biriyani taste was average and the quantity is good, they served with a plate of fresh salad. There was only one waiter and he was running to all the customers, the staff was friendly, and we took away the remaining as the quantity was good. the ambiance is good with warm lightings. I wish there were more staff to take the orders and make the orders bit faster. The price is reasonable and there are good options for Veg and Non Veg items Usually, in this country, most restaurants are difficult to get a variety of options for Veg & Non-Veg food Anyways, they would like to try their dinner menu. Only if I could give less then 1 star. Wouldnt be exaggerating if I said that, they have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Visited the place with 2 friends. It was 3 pm. First it took them 15 minutes to clear up an empty table. After we had finished ordering, we told them to hurry coz curfew starts at 5. 30 minutes in, when we enquired, the waiter told that our food is ready and it will be served in a while. After waiting till 4:15 we got up from our table to leave, the waiter and the manager repeated the same words that they have been saying, "food is ready, its on its way". If our order was going to take so long, they could have just told us that, as we had told them that we had to leave early coz of curfew.
