An absolute fine diner that specialises in authentic Indian cuisine. Happen to go to this restaurant for lunch and boy o boy did it not disappoint! Ordered their signature biriyanis and I must admit it was a certain bang for the buck. I must admit that the menu might be priced a little higher than the traditional Indian restaurants and I was quite skeptical if I was going to pay only for the ravishing ambience like many other eateries out there. But this place just struck all the right notes for me, right from their stunning hospitality to their brilliant service, I was pampered without limits! The food quantity and the taste had ticked all the right boxes. From perfect blend of spices, to the tender meat, everything was well done. The icing on the cake came in the form of an open kitchen which revealed all the wonder men behind the taste offered. Had tried out their kebabs and it was good too! The place is well lit, offers you a royal diner experience and has ample seating to accommodate quite a mob. Having gone here during the pandemic period, I must admit that they were very cautious and adhering to all the protocols with adequate care being taken to social distancing and limiting crockery in the form of plastic plates. A fan of this place and will keep coming...
Read moreMiss cihan introduced the restaurant and the menu before we decide to enter. She was Tunisian and have a pretty french accent for english. She was knowing the whole menu and the alternatives and popular food. Caroline was the waitress for us and she was so smiley and kind.
Ordered butter chicken, mango lessi and rice. The ambience is good and luckily it was not crowded when we were in the restaurant. Although it is in the mall food court area they have seperated the space from else where which gives you more privacy. They have gifted us mint chutney and tamarind chutneys. For me the chutneys were good but i prefer thicker texture. The butter chicken was well cooked and the sauce was enough thick for me. As i ordered very spicy butter chicken, i went with more simple rice. The lessi was a bit thick. I was expecting more liquid version. Yoghurt inside should be more to be like lessi. This was nearly mango juice. The only negative i saw was this. In the overall all the served was excellent. The rice is more than expected but this is oman and everybody consumes lots of rice. I think they can open a restaurant also in...
Read moreAs soon as we entered Razmazaan, the manager, Mr. Sihaab (I hope I got the name right!), welcomed us warmly and guided us to our seats. They have an open kitchen, which made the experience even more exciting. The manager took the time to explain the menu and recommend their best dishes.
I started with the Tandoori Chicken Salad — honestly, one of the best salads I’ve ever had! For the main, we shared the Lamb Biryani, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was soft, tender, and full of flavor. I also had a Mango Passion mocktail made with fresh fruit and no artificial syrup — so refreshing!
The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. Our server, Manish, took great care of us, and the manager checked on us whenever he could to make sure we had everything we needed.
Highly recommend Razmazaan for both the food and the hospitality. Will...
