The dining experience at Butt Karahi was extremely disappointing and it will certainly be my first and last visit. On the second day of Eid, I went there for dinner, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a regrettable decision. Despite waiting for a staggering one hour and twenty minutes, they only managed to deliver a partial order. I had ordered a full Karahi, Beef Kabab, Garlic Naan, Khamiri Roti, and cold drinks, but they only brought the Karahi and Kababs. Moreover, the quality of chicken was subpar, as it seemed stale and far from fresh.
To make matters worse, when I requested the bill, I had to endure an additional twenty minutes of waiting, only to realize it was never going to arrive. Eventually, I had to personally go downstairs to the counter and settle the bill myself. Throughout this entire ordeal, the manager, who was present, displayed no sense of accountability or shame.
When I voiced my complaint to the manager about the situation, the waiter's response was that they were short-staffed. This begs the question: if they were lacking staff, why did they open the restaurant in the first place? The establishment's overall cleanliness was appalling, and the menu prices were exorbitant, without any notable culinary offerings. Despite being aware of the hygiene concerns, I reluctantly visited Butt Karahi due to the closure of other Butts at Lakshmi Chowk. Regrettably, it turned out to be a decision I deeply regret.
