Koyla — The Barbecue — Restaurant in Shalimar Tehsil

It may sound another average restaurant in Hospitality Inn (Hotel) but thats not enough to describe it. Me and my two friends happened to be there last night and we were amazed to see that such place still exists in center of Lahore. It consists of both outdoor and indoor sittings on 6th floor of Hospitality Inn. Warm yellow light, relaxing music, heightened view of Lahore, alightened swimming pool and a cozy place to sit on roof top and delecious Aroma of continental food forms a little description of its Ambience. Because of Spring season cold breezes at night made our experience more cheerishable. Welcoming staff was good.

We ordered mutton tawa qeema, beef bihari kabab, lahori fried fish in main course and mozerella sticks for starters. Mozerrella sticks were good but not extra ordinary, neither we were interested in them because this place was known for its continental dishes. The moment food arrives, its aroma was tempting and persuasive enough to forget your surroundings. Waitors themselves served us with each dish. The fish was exceptionally amazing and its outer thin layer of crisp with its inner thick layer of white meat was very delicious. Appricot and plum sauces just added extra deleciousness to the fish. Next serving was that of Beef kabab. I have eaten kabab from many different places but these were litterally the best ones. Their taste, texture, aroma everything was equally enticing as well as apetizing. Mutton Tawa qeema was the last main course to try. It was served with paratha s. Qeema was simply awesome because of manythings...first it was handchopped, second it was from a goat of 12-14 Kg. (People who are mutton lovers knew the importance of weight of goat in mutton dishes) Due to these factors its taste was doubled..no trippled. The best thing about Parathas was that they were not drenched in oil and were not like puri s . They were more like saadi roti converted into crunchy and equally soft form of paratha. This experience was worh more than the money we paid. I would highly recommend people to try this cozy place atleast once in your life. Such an Amazing...

This Restaurant is situated at roof top of Hotel "Four Points Sherton" Egerton Road, Lahore. It has open terrace sitting place and covered small hall as well. From open place one can view the surrounding buildings, roads and aerial view of the city. Only Bar BQ food items are offered with good taste.
