Lahore Zoo Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam Lahore I'm visit with family very good experience 🙂😊 I'm share some pictures.... "Lahore Zoo in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, was established in 1872, and is one of the largest zoos in Pakistan. It is currently managed by the Forest, Wildlife and Fisheries department of the Government of Pakistan. Today the zoo houses a collection of about 1378 animals of 135 species. Lahore Zoo was the host of the fifth annual conference of SAZARC in 2004. Lahore Zoo is thought to be the third or fourth oldest zoo in the world. House of Vienna Zoo of Austria, established in 1752 as a menagerie, was opened to public as a zoo in 1779. London Zoo of England, established in 1828, was opened to public in 1847. The Alipore Zoo of India, established some time in the early 19th century, was opened to public as a zoo in 1876." We visited with kids.. It was a good experience.. kids loved it.. specially a custom kind of camel cart ride.. it is decorated and loud music is played on camel cart.. and .. there are birds.. animals..Lahore Zoo is a good place for the animal lovers specially children . Interesting Experience. Good for all ages including kids. You can spend all the day at Lahore Zoo. They have plenty of Animals such as beautiful peacocks 🦚, pheasants, swans and raw parrots 🦜. Maintenance could be better. Animals should be kept in better conditions. Overall good place for families to visit in Lahore. Not Bad.Lahore Zoo, one of the most popular places to visit for everyone, very inexpensive and enjoyable for Kids and Adults. Different kinds of Animals to see. But, its always sad to see Animals being caged in one place just to be entertainment for us human beings. Not sure if they also get the right treatment. Although, may Lord have mercy on the wrong doers. Enjoy your visit. It was fun with kids but , they should manage Rush and gatherings, they must fix days for school trips , and For Public it would be closed on that specific day. They should also limit the entrance per day. They should not allow people more than that limit. Camel rides are another fun for kids ,it's amazing and kids love to ride on camels or horses. But camels are animals and a living thing, not a toy or machine , they can't carry so many people per day. Although they limit the Ride to a few steps only at Rs. 30 only. But it should be long enough that kids can enjoy it properly. But die to Rush, and a lot of people and kids , they couldn't make it long enough. Zoo management should consider suggestions and take care of the crowd and animals as well.

Assalam o alaikum It's nice place to go with your family our your small kids to visit.! We were planning for two weeks but it's always cancel for some reasons but last Sunday it finally happened . We go their take tickets (it's cost 60 per person) then we entered and saw monkeys which were rare when last one and half years back we went there are many monkeys.! But it's okay Then we go feather we saw swans ,ducks On other hands theirs fishes there water are as same as their color so you have to focus if you want to see. In day light or sunlight you saw but in winding weather may be it's not clear. *Solution they have to clean their water every month at least our three or six . Theirs a fish house there are many fishes but there are so many people you have to get into it to see fishes. It's nice if people were less .! Feather on we explored others animals like dear, giraffes ,foxes, zebras, lion's, tigers (white tiger is walking countnously and brown one is roaring so loudly .) bears one is sleeping and other is walking. Theirs a snake portion as well but you have to take ticket we weren't interested because of the rush that's why we weren't go. There's a water turtle it's size is small and it's and water color is dark black which is not nice they have to clean their water as I said you have to focus then you can see otherwise not .! eligator there is two but I think one is dead because it's on the corner and aren't moving may be it's not true or it's my imagination... There's hippo place which is empty they have to fill it . One portion is only for birds but their bread name is pleasents when you go you see there are many cages but they are full with golden pleasents green red yellow silver all are fill with it and they are repeating it .. they have to organize it in many ways and focus on their food water cleaning ness etc if. I know there business is going good but they have to focus on there animals to One more thing which is most important people put garbage all over its not good for animals our others they have see this our improve the cleaning process for a nice and unhygienic place. Must go and explore Zoo it's nice place to visit but somethings is not right which I discussed but overall visit with family friends and with elders.!! Take your food with you .!

Very good experience, i am glad to much. Safely visited... Visiting the Lahore Zoo with your family is a delightful experience that offers a blend of nature, wildlife, and recreational activities. The zoo, located in the heart of Lahore, Pakistan, provides a diverse collection of animals from various parts of the world, making it an educational and enjoyable destination for all ages. As you enter the zoo, you'll be greeted by a range of enclosures featuring animals like lions, tigers, elephants, and various bird species. Lahore Zoo also offers additional attractions like a train ride that takes you around the zoo, adding an element of fun and adventure to the experience. Picnic areas are available, allowing you to relax and enjoy snacks amidst the natural beauty of the surroundings. I recently visited this zoo with my family, and overall, we had a good time. However, there were a few things that detracted from our experience. Firstly, the zoo was not as clean as we had hoped. There were a lot of litter and debris in some areas, which detracted from the beauty of the surroundings. Additionally, we found the food prices to be quite high. While we understand that prices can be higher in tourist areas, the food at the zoo was much more expensive than we had anticipated. This made it difficult for us to enjoy the various dining options that were available. Despite these drawbacks, there were many things that we enjoyed about the zoo. The animals were fascinating to watch, and we appreciated the care that was taken to ensure their well-being. We also enjoyed the various activities and exhibits, particularly the animal shows and feeding sessions. The petting zoo and playground were especially popular with our kids, and they had a great time. That being said, we were not able to cover all areas of the zoo despite our multiple visits. The zoo is quite large, and it can be difficult to see everything in one day. However, this does provide an opportunity for visitors to come back and explore more in the future. In summary, while the cleanliness and expensive food prices were a downside, we still had a good experience at the zoo. The animals and activities were enjoyable, and we appreciated the effort that went into creating such a diverse and engaging attraction. If the zoo could address these issues, it would be an even more enjoyable destination for visitors Still unable to visit elephant.

The Lahore Zoo, located on Mall Road in Lahore, offers a diverse and captivating experience for visitors of all ages. The zoo's prime location adds to its charm, with easy accessibility for both locals and tourists. Strolling through its lush landscapes, visitors encounter a wide array of animals from around the world, making it an educational and entertaining destination. The zoo's historical significance is evident in its well-preserved architecture, blending seamlessly with modern enclosures. While the facility provides a home to a variety of animal species, including lions, elephants, and exotic birds, it also faces challenges in terms of space and enclosures. Efforts to improve animal habitats and ensure their well-being are ongoing. The zoo's central location on Mall Road makes it a convenient stop for families, students, and nature enthusiasts. However, due to its popularity, it can get crowded during peak times, affecting the overall experience. Adequate maintenance and cleanliness are crucial to enhancing the appeal of this cherished location. In conclusion, the Lahore Zoo on Mall Road is a historic and valuable establishment offering an opportunity to connect with wildlife in the heart of the city. While it has its strengths, there's room for continued improvements to provide the best possible experience for both visitors and the animals that call the zoo home.

I recently visited this zoo and was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. Here are some major issues I encountered: Upon entering the zoo, I noticed there were no maps available for visitors. This made navigating the large area very difficult and frustrating, especially for first-time visitors like myself. A zoo map is essential to ensure guests can find their way around and see all the attractions. There was no information desk or staff readily available to assist visitors. Whenever I had a question or needed directions, there was no one to help. This is a significant oversight, as an information desk is crucial for providing assistance and improving the visitor experience. None of the animal enclosures had name plates or informational boards. This lack of information detracted from the educational aspect of the visit. Visitors, especially children, should be able to learn about the animals they are seeing. The café prices were exorbitant, and the quality of food did not justify the high costs. Many visitors, including myself, felt overcharged for basic items. This issue needs to be addressed to avoid further dissatisfaction. Overall, my visit to the zoo was underwhelming and frustrating. There are several areas in need of improvement to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
