The place was overcrowded for some reason and I genuinely don’t understand why. We waited around 15 to 20 minutes to get a table. Service time after ordering was average nothing special.
We started with hummus and pita bread which was completely tasteless and came in a really small portion. From there it just got worse.
We ordered Grilled Chicken Strips with Spicy Rice. The rice had a strange bitter taste almost like eggplant and the chicken was just bland. No spice no flavor. Then came the Chicken Cataplana which was mostly vegetables with barely any chicken. Again totally tasteless and the rice had that same bitter flavor.
My father ordered a fresh lime with Sprite. The Sprite was flat and had no fizz and when he asked for it again the lemon was so overpowering it made the whole drink bitter.
I also tried their new blue drink called Passionade Blue, and it was literally just blue water with a hint of syrup. No flavor, just a cold sugary mix with ice.
Finally, we tried their chicken and Pineapple Skewers Salad. The pineapple was extremely sour, and the chicken wasn’t even fully cooked.
After all these years, the quality is still just as disappointing. Bland food weird flavors are nothing memorable. It's definitely not worth...
