FOOD BAZAAR, EL CANGREJO — Restaurant in Bella Vista

I first visited the Food Bazaar, El Cangrejo because I had just arrived, was hungry, and because it was located right next to my hotel. I kept returning for the rest of my two week stay because of the quality of the food, the reasonable prices, the wide variety of choices, and the friendly service. My regular waiter, Miguel, knew after the first night what I liked to eat and drink, and my order was on its way to the kitchen before I sat down at the table! Fui a Bazar Food El Cangrejo con muchas ganas de probar algo diferente y la verdad es que la experiencia me dejó bastante decepcionado. Pedimos un choripán, unos nachos y una pechuga de pollo. Los nachos y el choripán llegaron relativamente rápido, pero las pechugas tardaron más de 30 minutos en salir. Para ese momento ya no las queríamos, pero nos dijeron que estaban listas y prácticamente nos las impusieron. Esa falta de coordinación ya marcó un mal sabor desde el inicio.

Después pedimos dos limonadas y también se olvidaron de traerlas. Tuvimos que recordarlo varias veces y al final simplemente desistimos porque la atención era muy desordenada. Sinceramente, se siente que el personal no tiene un sistema claro y eso repercute en la experiencia del cliente.

La comida en sí no es mala, pero tampoco es algo que te invite a volver. El choripán estaba correcto, los nachos bastante básicos y la pechuga sin nada especial. Para lo que ofrecen, no justifica la espera ni la mala organización. Además, algo tan sencillo como poner vasos, servilletas y cubiertos brilló por su ausencia, lo cual hace que uno se sienta poco cuidado.

En resumen: un sitio con potencial pero con demasiada descoordinación. No es un desastre, pero tampoco lo recomendaría si buscas un lugar donde comer tranquilo y...
