The salad was fresh and crisp, garlic bread was amazing. The pesto and brushetta mix served with the meal was on point. We ordered the grilled meat for two and it was the fantastic, the beef was cooked perfectly to our preference. Finally a place in Panama to enjoy beef!! The lemon pie was a frozen dessert, but also very good! The service was friendly and helpful, we felt taken care of. If you are expecting a USDA grade steak (as in the USA), you will not find it here. We ordered the T-bone which, as expected given where the meat must travel from, comes frozen and is heated to temperature. The steak, ordered rare, was cooked to good temperature but because of all the grisle was very tough to cut and eat. The mussels were also frozen and reheated, and the garlic bread was something that resembled a hot dog bun with oil. Nice little Trattoria style restaurant. It has some charm to it and it feel very welcoming! The staff is well trained, friendly and professional. It can get busy so I suggest you reserve if thinking to dine around peak hours. I appreciated the fact that the service was very fast and the enviroment is not very noisy. The dishes were well presented and in abbondance. We ordered a grilled stake and lamb - all comes with sides and overall I believe it is good value.
