Read moreA place to hangout with friends or with a date, the dishes are big, we try the bristish classic fish and chips and it was super crunchy, I totally love it, and the potatoes were the best I have ever tried, hand made cooked not like the regular French fries you get in any old restaurant.
We order the sausage sliders and the scotch eggs, normally I would have a fav dish of the meal but this time I had to many winners even my daughter couldn’t decided, they were all so good.
The cuisine style is Scotch, you can feel the heritage in the restaurant vibe. The Glasgow Mule cocktail was excellent between sweet and ginger spicy and balance with the alcohol, my friend order a British beers , a Belhaven light ale with smooth tastes.
Prices are average for this type of restaurant , you can spend between $15-$20 for a drink and a dish. The music was classic and contemporary Rock all the way so i enjoyed a lot. Extra point the have free internet WiFi and the restrooms were cute. The service was spectacular you feel like having a butler kind of a experience. By the way I wouldn’t recommend it for going with kids, I believe it’s more an adults Type of place but the have a kids menu and a desserts. You can order a sticky toffee pudding with hand made vanilla ice cream, we were goodly surprise because the toffee was hard rock like other I liked the soft and moister texture.
To me best place to eat scotch and British food in Panama. One place stop for locals like me to love to experience...
Read moreMy cousins are in town for a visit and I live in Boquete so we were unfamiliar with Panama City. We heard about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. As soon as we got there, my cousin commented that she felt really at home there. It was a very comforting feeling for all of us. There were a few people enjoying the atmosphere too. The menu reflects the Scottish theme. Lots of good food - cottage pie, bangers and mash, etc. Kevin choose the Fish & Chips, Bev had the Chicken Curry and I got the mango chicken wings, some fries and coleslaw. OMG!! The wings were finger licking good. And the fries rivaled McDonalds. And dessert was FANTASTIC!! Sticky toffee and ice cream. Although there were other options, all three choose the Sticky Toffee. But one of the best parts of dinner was our waitress, Lhoreleey. She was very attentive and very personable. We shared some good laughs. When we all chose the same dessert because we didn't want to share desserts, she had a good chuckle. We hugged when we left. When I return for another visit to Panama City, I will definitely return for another...
