Oh My Bao — Restaurant in San Felipe

We were really looking forward to visiting after finding the restaurant on Google, however, the experience wasn't great. The waitress was clearly under pressure due to it being busy, however, even after people left and it emptied out, there were issues with ordering the food and the food coming out. They didn't have the rice cakes I wanted so we asked for a minute to decide on something else and it took another 15 minutes for her to come back over. When we ordered, we were missing a dish which we then waited for over 40 minutes to come out after eating the rest of the food. A customer came in after us and got his food and finished his food before we got the last dish. The waitress apologised but it was a bit too late. We were really disappointed. Cute & casual dining place. Offers a diverse menu of light snacks, meals (generous portions), sweets, bubble teas, etc. Absolutely adore the artwork on the walls and drawings by the kitchen area, and fun figurines, Funko Pops, stuffed animals on the shelves to look at. As a Korean I did not feel that Japchae and fried chicken were authentic, but still tasty & fresh ingredients - my only suggestion is be mindful of small bone pieces in the chicken. We were not super impressed by the service: slow in general, basic items like a spoon for soup & napkins not being offered, some miscommunications (although I don't expect perfect English from locals). OMG this place is so good! I only had one chance to eat there, and I was unfortunately brutally sea/car sick after a return trip from San Blas, but the food actually made me feel much better!! We ordered the siu mai, roasted pork buns, bulgogi bibimbap, and my friend just got bulgogi over rice (nothing else). The servings were huge, we ended up having to leave about 1/2 of the food we couldn’t finish. The food was sooooo good that 3months later my friend and I still reminisce over it. My only criticism is the drinks are all VERY sweet, but if you're ok with that I guess it's a good thing! Would love to go...
