Cuquita Cookita — Restaurant in San Francisco

The food was excellent! Like really really excellent! I ordered the quesadilla and the chicken filled rice and everything was very very good! My husband ordered the tuna that I tried and I am coming back just for it!!!! They ordered the baked Alaska for dessert (see picture ) and it was very good also ( I take their word and their delighted sounds for it as I am not at all a sweet tooth and didn’t try it). The place is beautiful and very well sweetly decorated: I am a big fan of the pink tea house decorations. A must try if you are visiting...

Cuquita Cookita is a very cozy and clean space. Mrs. Cuquita herself and her daughter run the place with an excellent staff greeting you and focused on deliver unique experiences over their delight dishes and stuff. I step in today and they were having a a kitchen takeover from La Tapa del Coco, which is an Afro-Panamanian cultural movement, with gorgeous afro caribbean latino food. Overwhelming experience. Hicimos un pedido de una caja de dulces para delivery y nos dijeron que para las 9.30 am , se hizo la hora y nadie escribió, ni llamó ni se contacto con nosotros, todavía a las 10.20 am no habíamos recibido updates sobre nuestra orden, cuando por fin contestan el teléfono nos dicen que sufrieron un contratiempo y que nos van a llevar el pedido. Tuvimos que cambiar de dirección porque la persona que estaba esperando el pedido originalmente se tuvo que retirar del local. La presentación ni parecida al pdf y a las fotos en las cajas blancas que aparecen en instagram. Nos mandaron los dulces en envases para llevar. (Incluyo imagen tomada del instagram del negocio) Pésimo servicio We placed this order for delivery and they assured us the box would be delivered at 9.30 am yet no one showed up at the agreed time, or called or communicated with us, at 10.20 am nobody had contacted us either and the person that was waiting for the delivery had to leave, so we had to ask one of our friends for her address so that they could deliver this. Absolutely nobody contacted us or picked up the phone when we tried to call them. And to add salt to the injury, the presentation was not what it is advertised and shown in the pdf and in their instagram. Terrible experience, would...
