Coming to Fuego was ultimately such a frustrating and disappointing experience, not even sure where to start. For one, it took over an hour and a half to get our food from the time we sat down, and over 45 minutes to just get water. The waitress, the dark haired Israeli woman, was so out of it, and i hate to say this— but myself and my group suspected she may be intoxicated. Multiple questions and inquiries throughout the night went completely unanswered and she often came up to the table just to walk away without taking out order, and the place was not particularly full or busy. More so, she was so incredibly pushy with alcohol, even giving (and charging for) one of the members of the party to have a mojito instead of the tea she ordered.
They also largely advertised a Hanukkah party, and other than banners over the kitchen, nothing. They told us they were completely out of chicken, which was like half the menu. After FINALLY ordering and waiting a significant amount of time, she said they were also out of Rye bread and pastrami and roast beef. When the food came out, many of the orders were slightly wrong as well— fries instead of salad, the wrong sauce, steak and burgers cooked completely raw when ordered medium well, cold latkes and fries.
Another waitress proceeded to hand me an extremely hot plate without warning, burning my hand. I ordered the Meat Exteavaganza, and it was the best thing on the table, but regardless the whole situation made the experience regrettable.
The original waitress, rather than give any sort of apology for this deeply dissatisfying meal and how long everything took, stopped coming by our table generally, only stopping by towards the end to make a comment about how “we hadn’t died of starvation yet”?? A weird comment to a very hungry table. Once again, I believe it is likely she was intoxicated.

Our experience at Fuego was nothing short of frustrating. Despite having a reservation, we were made to wait an extra hour. When we finally got a table, our order never arrived. After waiting even longer—this time with a hungry baby—we were told they had mistakenly given our food to another table. Instead of rushing to fix their mistake, they made us wait yet another 35 minutes with no real apology or effort to make things right. The lack of organization and basic customer care was astonishing. Definitely not a place...
