Kahlo by Frida — Restaurant in San Francisco

This place is popular bc of the atmosphere. It’s very instagram worthy.The food is bad. The drinks are ok. The service leaves a lot to be desired . I would not recommend if you like good food. To add insult to injury the prices are ridiculous.

I’m visiting from the US and found this spot on google. I scanned the food reviews and thought that i was in for a treat. I wasn’t. The young lady that assisted us was polite . Her shift ended while we were there . Someone else took over and idk if it’s because we were the last diners and they were ready to go home, or if this is just the general tone but I didn’t feel welcome in the space. I felt like the staff was unbothered by us . My friend barely touched her food, but not once did the waiter ask her if something was wrong. At the end of the meal he just cleared it away with the other plates. Another friend ordered a prawn dish that came with shrimp instead of prawns, and when she question the waiter, he just looked at her like she was crazy and said there’s shrimp in there. There’s a difference between shrimp and prawns. I would not visit again or recommend it to anyone unless you just want...

Es una pena que este lugar tenga tan mal servicio. La decoración es muy linda, es como entrar en un lugar mágico. Cada esquina tiene un detalle especial. Sin embargo, el servicio mata toda la experiencia. Hice reserva, al llegar me dicen si vaya por allí y quedé sola en medio del restaurante, tuve que regresar a buscar al chico que me recibió para preguntarle dónde me sentaba. Luego no nos tomaban la orden. Más de 20 minutos esperando. Al final apareció un chico que nos tomó la orden después de varios llamados y no anotó nada. Luego de que preguntáramos por nuestra comida, apareció otra persona preguntando que habíamos ordenado, volvimos a repetir todo incluyendo las bebidas (copa de vino no debería tomar 30 minutos) después de mucho tiempo apareció mi comida que era un chino panameño, pero se sentía frío. Luego esperar otro mil minutos más para la cuenta final, tuvimos que levantarnos y pagar directamente. Creo que si nos hubiésemos ido sin pagar ni siquiera lo hubiesen notado. No regresaré jamás.
