El Café con Teclas — Restaurant in San Francisco

I recently visited this cafeteria, hoping for a pleasant meal, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a thoroughly disappointing experience.

First and foremost, they never seem to have reservations available. Despite calling ahead and even arriving early, I was told I would have to wait for a table. When I asked about the possibility of reserving in advance, I was met with a dismissive response, as if they were not interested in accommodating their customers.

After finally being seated, we were given a table outside, which was the only option available. To make matters worse, the tables outside are unbearably hot. It was a sunny day, and there was no shade or any effort to make the outdoor seating comfortable. The heat was so intense that it was nearly impossible to enjoy the meal. We were sweating and uncomfortable the entire time, and it completely ruined what should have been a relaxing dining experience.

The service was just as disappointing. The staff seemed indifferent to our discomfort and made no effort to address the situation. When we asked if there was a possibility to move inside, we were told flatly that there were no available tables, even though we could clearly see several empty ones through the window.

All in all, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The lack of reservations, the sweltering outdoor seating, and the poor customer service made for a very unpleasant visit. I won’t be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable meal.

Antes de ir leí los reviews y hablaban del mal servicio, quise omitir eso pensando que ya habían mejorado pero sigue igual. Si hacen reservas te piden que consumas mínimo tal monto por persona, eso lo veo mal, uno hace reserva obviamente es para ir a consumir y pasarlo bien, no solo a sentarse, pedir que consuman tal cantidad está mal. Éramos 4, era la primera vez que voy al café, la atención definitivamente debe mejorar, es un café pequeño y entiendo que le den oportunidades de trabajo a personas que quizás no tengan experiencia o tal vez sí, pero las muchachas que me atendieron son desatentas, cada vez que necesitaba algo levantaba la mano para que me atendieran pero no me veían y eso que estaba sentada justo enfrente de la caja, tenía que obligarme a pararme a pedir lo que necesitaba; cuando pedí, demoran mucho en servir, pensé que tal vez sea complicado de preparar, quise ser comprensiva pero aún así una bebida pequeña se demoraban. La comida estaba deliciosa, la comida se merece 5 estrellas; lo único que hay que mejorar pienso yo, es la atención, no vengan con la excusa de que es movido porque ese día no había casi nadie, solo 2 mesas y la mía y en cada mesa solo habían pedido bebidas. Nadie pidió comida. Siento que te tratan con discriminación en ese local, no sé si solo sea yo pero las otras mesas solo pedían café, yo consumí bastante, pedí varios platos de comida, varias bebidas, la cuenta fue grande (consumí más de lo que me pidieron) pero el trato fue diferente; son pequeños detalles pero esos detalles son los que hacen que el cliente se sienta diferente, pónganse en los zapatos del cliente y vean en qué hay que mejorar, como dueños jamás van a saber qué mejorar si no tienen críticas, espero esto le sirva. The food was beyond delicious! The decor was beautiful. Everything in the store appeared to have a lot of thought, time , and energy put into it! We were a group of 6 and the staff was kind, patient , and accommodating. We ate our way through the menu and each item was incredibly tasty.
