The best Spa I have been to. My boyfriend and I were on vacation in Panama and discovered this gem by coincidence. If you are a tourist, please just look past the area, the look of the building and the website. You can call, english is ok, and they will happily tell you about their extensive list of services they offer - the website (as of May 2021) is not complete. We went on a Thursday evening for a full body massage with Ana and Melody and it was absolutely fantastic! The Spa is clean, smells nice, looks nice and the staff is outstandingly friendly and helpful. They touch and treat you with the utmost respect. Once you are in the massage room, you will be able to forget your worries and busy life for a moment. And trust me, achieving that in a lively part of Panama City is not easy! But they did it. The massage and service was so amazing that we went again the day after for a deep tissue massage because we were so blown away (and we have been to several spas in different countries but this is my personal favourite so far!!). The deep tissue massage was even better than the normal (swedish) full body massage and helped both of us, my boyfriend and myself to loosen some tension. Much needed! Hand on heart, I would love for Coco Spa to experience a boom and open more locations because it was truly...
Read moreI give 3 stars because I liked the spa and its facilities and ambiance. I was able to use the sauna for 5 minutes before my treatment started. I was then given a foot wash and taken to the treatment room. Normally I just do deep tissue or relaxing massage, but because so many people mentioned the 4 hands, I decided to try that one. It was completely underwhelming. One hand was doing the most and the other barely nothing. It was like having someone rub oil on my body. Although it was relaxing, it wasn’t amazing at all, and I was very disappointed that they didn’t even properly massage my back, neck and shoulders where I hold the most tension. When it came to paying, I was shocked to see that the cost was over $160 as they add tax on top, and then on top of that I felt bullied into leaving a tip even though they...
Read moreThis place is truly a rip off. My friend and I booked a 4 hour getaway treatment ($280). As soon as we finished the massage, my friend complained and did not want to go through the whole treatment because the lady massaging her with a red hair was texting on her phone the whole time! She could feel the masseuse’s phone vibrating the whole time. She ended up paying $80 for the massage and ended it. I went through the whole treatment, and it lasted for about 3 hours. They slapped on the coffee scrub on me for maybe 15 mins, did the facial where they just slapped on lotion on my face, and sat on the bath with flowers for maybe 30 mins. None of that was worth paying $280. If you are spending anywhere close to $100 for a massage, please just go...
