Great little place with amazing food and lovely waiting staff who gave excellent recommendations on the menu and recommended their own personal favourites. The restaurant is part of a the fish market complex where there are several independent places, and the whole place has a really happy and sociable vibe to it. The beer is local and reasonably priced, but the fish was to die for, fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. Be aware if paying with card or contactless that the signal for the machine can be temperamental, so you may need to have the cash. Avoid it if you don’t want to get robbed, I was at the “restaurant” Arrecife and they made me pay much more than what was written in the menu. I didn’t realise immediately as I was way tired from 24 hrs travelling to get in Panama city. Also, I asked to pay with card and the waiter invented some excuse to make me paying cash (I guess not to have proof of what he did). Plus, the food was horrible, I could not even finish it. So, make yourself a gift and don’t go in this tourist trap. If you go, ask to check the menu again before paying or make a picture of it so you know what you have to pay before they come for...

Complete ripoff. They give you menus with no prices and then decide what you get charged at the end. We were charged $36 for 2 Margarotas amongst other over priced items. Even an expensive restaurant in the city charges $10 maximum for a margarota. While we were there there were 2 other tables of people that had issues with their bills which we didn’t realise what was happening until we got out bill and we released.
